Becasue we all like to SMILE

It's only cool if no one's heard of it.

'Riot Girl' by Good Charlotte never fails to make me grin - most of the time I'll end up pissing myself laughing to boot as well. For clarification, it's not because it's a good/funny song; it's because a mate "dedicated" it to me one day when I was feeling crappy. He belted out the entire song - complete with miming actions (winks and the like) - then ended with:

"Well, she's not my girl, but she has tattoos and piercings and she's angry most of the time and PLEASE DON'T KILL ME DRAKOHEL"

Good times.

Oddly enough, Protest the Hero's "Turn Soonest to the Sea" and "Blindfolds Aside" always make me feel good - they just feel so epic I can't help but smile. For similar reasons, Parkway Drive's "Romance Is Dead" and Atreyu's "Right Side Of The Bed" usually make me feel pretty awesome.

Congratulations, that made me nearly kill myself laughing. I think I might start smiling like that more often.

I want to learn this smile, perfect it, and then go around smiling at lesbians and freaking them out.

I'd love to see the reactions of people in the street.

YOU HAVE NO FREE WILL! YOU WILL LISTEN TO THIS SONG BECAUSE I WANT YOU TO! YOU WILL ENJOY IT MORE BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T WANT TO HEAR IT, BUT BECAUSE I IMPOSED MY CHOICE UPON YOU. THAT IS POLITE.

The song is Daisy Click Clack, by Stereolab, by the way. One day I danced along to it in the corridors of my workplace. THAT is how happy it makes me.

"The accordion is the instrument most likely to put a smile on your face."

Guys, guys! It's Nation Accordion Awareness Month!

Hence, the Beer Barrel Polka played by virtuoso Myron Floren.

(I could be jealous of how easy he makes bellow shakes look, but I'm too busy smiling.)

"Hey Jude" by the Beatles, because one time last year I was feeling really down and suddenly my phone rang, and it was a dear friend of mine calling to play it for me with a music box :)

I knew a woman once, but she died soon after.
