Tess Gerritsen - die again. Very good crime novel, a little bit medical and different than others.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. It's a mystery novel by Mark Haddon that tells about a 15-year-old boy who describes himself as "a mathematician with some behavioural difficulties". I love this book.

My all-time favorite book is The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver. It's super long but so interesting (and worth the effort!). You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll learn something - not bad for one book right? Lolita is also a great book, but probably not a traditional favorite. I wouldn't want to read it over and over, but it really made an impression on me.

Oh, I loved the Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time!
On the nonfiction side, I LOVE Mary Roach. She's basically a hilarious Malcolm Gladwell, and I love her. Gulp was especially fun.

Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino

Doctor glas by Hjalmar Söderberg. The entire book adheres to chekhov's gun in a very smooth manner. The book is short, and while I always want a good book to last longer it serves the themes well with the brisk pace. Easy afternoon read and well worth the time.
