I'm already stuck on 10. I've tried 2 ways to do it, but I'm always short 1 mirror, or the mirror isn't positioned properly.

Each corner should use at most two mirrors. Remember that the angled mirrors can reflect in two ways. Work out which corner requires the single "flat" mirror first.

Okay, I'm stuck. I know that the flat mirror has to go at the end, right before that last star. What I don't know how to do is how to get the other mirrors positioned correctly.

Other than that final double corner with the flat mirror, every corner requires exactly 2 angled mirrors. Work each one out in turn, considering the final path the beam will have to take in order to hit any stars in between the corners. Again, remember that the angled mirrors can reflect in two ways.

Okay, you know what, I have no idea what you mean. No matter which way I turn it, there is always a corner where I can't place something. Does it have something to do with reflecting the beam at a 45 degree angle?

Look at the "this is the best I can do" image that was posted just above your last post.

Hint #1:
Spoiler:
Look at the 4th corner; that's where the problem is.

Hint #2:
Spoiler:
Look at the 1st corner; that's there the solution is.

OK, I've finished Chromatron 1 and gone on to Chromatron 2. Anyone got any hints or clues for numbers 42 and 44? The answers are over at the Chromatron forum, but I'm trying not to look.

42 and 44 are the only two that I have left on Chromatron 2...so I guess I'll be going on to part 3 (I'm obsessive compulsive-ish)

Just a note: If you do beat the game (like I did (by myself bragging rights! )) the guy's email address shows up in the box with the chinese text. Which just happens to be hawkpeng79@hotmail.com

And for the spiral,
Spoiler:
there's more than one way to build a corner.

Argh... stuck again. I got to level 12 (I knew how to beat level 11! Yay!)

I can get 5 out of 6 stars, but that last one eludes me like hell.

I finished 13 (I'd already sussed it didn't need magenta, but thanks for trying to help) and now I hate 18. I managed to skip 16 somehow though.

More hints please. So far I have the splitter in the bottom-middle and 3 of the mirrors in the bottom two corners and one at the top, but I have a mirror spare and definitely can't get the colours right.

I can't even see another arangement that hits all the targets, nevermind with the right colours.

15 is really a bitch. I just can't get those mirrors right.

Oh, 15's not a bitch anymore. I just moved a few mirrors around, that's all.

The key to this one is that the Doppler thing is assymetric.

33 doesn't count for not using every part? it's really not that hard and it leaves three pieces (at least). it should very well count.

Add 38 to the list of puzzles with extra pieces.

And I just used trial and error for 35. . .I still don't understand the quantum implications of tangler + prism + dopplers.

You'll notice that 3 of the mirrors reflect the beam 90 degrees and one reflects it 45 degrees.

In order to hit the targets, both beams need to be deflected 45 degrees - but there's only one 45 degree mirror .

Spoiler:
Both beams must hit this 45 degree mirror

Yes, I've realised this first part, but I cannot find the angle at which to point them. i cant seem to get both beams pointing at the 45 degree mirror while it is facing up

I can't do 13 OR 14 (which are both unlocked *shrugs*)

13:
Spoiler:
Just do it one step at a time. Each part will only be used by one laser, but one of the lasers passes straight through a splitter used by the other laser in my solutions.

14:
Spoiler:
You can make any set of lasers go through the white target, as long as the white laser goes through it. (Letting all three other lasers go through it without the white laser will also work in general, but that doesn't provide a solution here.)

### Re: Laser Logic

Someone want to give more hints to 18? I've beaten all of the first 25 except that one and 13. On 18, I can either get all the white ones and none of the colored ones or all the colored ones and only two of the white ones. On 13, the best I can do is all but the second blue one. Thanks for any help.

Edit: okay, never mind, I got them. not that anyone answered anyway. (although, now I'm stuck on 32 and 24. it never ends.)

You're close (obviously). You need to replace one of the splitters with your mirror and find a new spot for your displaced splitter.

For 20:

Spoiler:
The prism lies directly in the path of the red beam (with no mirrors in between the prism and the red laser).

For 24:

Spoiler:
The red target that lies on line with the original red beam, is the last one to be hit.

The prism can be rotated into 8 different positions - 4 of these positions allow the red beam to pass through without altering its path (which is what you need ) .... only 1 of these is correct

### Re: Laser Logic

I finally got #24. That was the last one for me to solve (in the originally linked game).
Spoiler:
knowing that that red one is not the first and knowing that it is the last are not the same thing.
It was slightly annoying how easily it came into place once I got started in the right direction (that is, not trying to make that target third).
