Pepsi here. Coke makes me sick. I would probably die without Pepsi in my life.

Coke, for it's crispness. Pepsi tastes too syrupy sweet for me.

Since it will invariably come up: Yes, your local beverage purveyor's fountain does a terrible job mixing. Only comparisons between plant-bottled products are valid.

Coke in the US has a funny aftertaste, so I prefer Pepsi. Coke Zero lacks the funny aftertaste and isn't as absurdly sweet, so that's probably better than either.

I said Coke, but it's really "Coke products." Coke rocks Pepsi's socks, but more importantly, Fresca is the shit. And Coca-Cola's root beer (Barq's) is a thousand times better than Pepsi's (Mug)- among national brands, only A&W can compete. The only thing PepsiCo has going for it is they haven't renamed Dr. Pepper (Pibb Xtra? what is that?).

I used to prefer pepsi because it was usually cheaper.

But then I realised coca cola is significantly better. Pepsi loses hard.

I drink Diet Coke (no zero here, wondering how that will taste). Anyway, I think they change the formula slightly for the Israeli audience, so it doesn't taste the same. At least, that's what they say.

Taste-wise, I don't care, I will drink both.

As a company, I prefer Pepsi. In my experience they have better customer service for their vendors--at my work we used to serve Pepsi, and now we serve Coke. I like Pepsi products more too--when we had Pepsi, we could get Sobe and Starbucks frappuccinos.

However, Coke just bought Glaceau. I love Vitamin Water!

Regular Coke is better than Regular Pepsi. I do, however, like pepsi products, like mountain dew and dr. pepper more than coke products.

Diet pop, yes pop-not soda, sucks. I can taste the fake sugar crap they put in it. All diet pop is disgusting. If you are going to drink a pop, go for something good (ie non diet). Life is too short to drink bad tasting crap like diet pop.

Coke has tasted noticeably different in almost every country I've been to. I rarely have Pepsi, so I really can't compare. I voted for the "other" option, as there are a number of fizzy drinks I prefer to coke (Irn Bru, ginger beer and plain old cream soda being the main ones, though anything with passionfruit is guaranteed a place among my favourites).
This is a placeholder until I think of something more creative to put here.

Living in the state where Coca-Cola was born, I have to say Coke. I've tried Pepsi. It's OK, and I'll drink it if it's the only thing available. I do prefer Mountain Dew (Pepsi) over Mello Yello (Coke).

Diet Coke, the last time I had it, was fine for a diet soda. Diet Pepsi, OTOH, tasted like shit.

Caffeine-free sodas? WTF?

Caffeine-free diet sodas? Double WTF?

Oh, and Coke in glass bottles FTW. The only place you can really get them (that I've seen) is in the store section of Cracker Barrel. If, however, you want an authentic Coca-Cola, almost like how it was originally produced, go to any small Mexican restaurant. The kind that looks like a hole-in-the-wall. I once got a Coke there that was bottled in Mexico. Had a white rim of powder on the bottom on the outside of the bottle. Cocaine, perhaps? It was the old bluish-green glass that Coke used to come in. The ones at Cracker Barrel come in a clearer glass. Anyways, it was the best Coke I'd ever had.

I wasn't all that thrilled with Surge. It tasted like overly-sweetened Mountain Dew. I remember when it was first marketed, a couple of sales reps from Coca-Cola came to our school and handed out free Surge to every student during lunchtime. Not a lot of people liked it, and some even complained of headaches from the excessive boost of caffeine.

Coke, though that could be because I got somewhat addicted to it in Mexico, where it vastly outnumbers Pepsi pretty much everywhere. (Mexicans drink more Coke per capita than people in any other country on Earth.)
Unless stated otherwise, I do not care whether a statement, by itself, constitutes a persuasive political argument. I care whether it's true.

Dr. Pepper! And really only that because I'm not much for colas in general and DP doesn't really taste like other colas to me. I much prefer, well, beer, if I'm drinking something carbonated and juice if I'm drinking something sugary.

After having a healthy Coke addiction, I literally woke up one day unable to stomach it, or any other cola. That has since calmed down to where I'll drink it.. if there's no water.

And.. I didn't used to like Dr. Pepper/Mr Pibb or any of the other variants. I've since grown to love them. Go figure.

Gotta have the Coke. Even though it's not as good as it used to be (except in the glass bottles, especially the ones we've got here that are brought in from Mexico) now that the almighty Sugar has been dethroned by shit-tons of corn syrup. I'm pretty sure that's what's hurting Coke now.

Still better than Pepsi. I miss O.K. soda.

A laboratory my mom used to work for had a Coke dispenser that worked old-school: You put your money in the machine, chose which flavor or brand you wanted, and placed a cup underneath the dispener's nozzle. It would squirt first the carbonated water into the cup, then the syrup, then a bit more water, then a bit more syrup. I had to go to work with her one time because we were driving down to Florida to visit some family for a few days during the Christmas holiday, and I had one, and yea, it was good.

I've seen two or three of the coffee dispensing machines. They're usually built in right next to the vending machine with the sandwiches and other refrigerated products. There were two places I worked at that had them.

The Coke dispensing machine looked sort of like the ones you see in most fast-food restaurants or anywhere else that sells Coke or Pepsi products, whether behind the counter (employee gets it for you) or at the self-service area (you get it yourself). IIRC, you put your money in the slot, placed a cup under the nozzle, chose the brand/flavor, and it did the rest. There was only one nozzle.

I generally don't drink straight sugared cola any more but when I did, I preferred Pepsi but as far as total products bought from one line or the other, I'm about even.

I like diet vanilla coke a ton but they don't make it anymore. I like pepsi Jazz strawberries and cream but I think they're phasing that out. I like diet coke better than diet pepsi. I like mug better than barqs but rarely drink either because they both taste like crap if they're diet and sugared sodas are horrible for you.

I like sierra mist (and the old 7up) better than sprite (both diet forms and regular). I really liked that pepsi one with splenda they made for like a week before pulling it.

So, I voted pepsi but you'll find coke products in my house quite frequently and if I'm given the following four choices:

Coke
Diet Coke
