11km = 6.84 miles

713.76 + 6.84 = 720.6

But, I feel like crap because I've got a head cold and I twisted my ankle falling upstairs like a prat.

I bike, but I'd love to be a part of this thread.

I can't run though. If I were to have zero body fat, my 'dry weight' would be about 180, 185.

Running destroys my ankles and knees.

I finally got back to my town and ran a bit on a track with the distance written on it. I used to run but I didn't run since last summer... so it's been a hard 4.5 km, but nice cos it was along the river...

Got to get back into this after a week off with a cold. That was harder than it should be so I guess my asthma isn't quite clear. I'll se if I can get back above 10 miles this week.

(and - 500th post!!! Wanted to make this post here, rather than on the SB mindwarp, arguing about the book-burning actions of some bible-bashing idiot.)

No miles. I have bad news from the podiatrist. I tore my "posterior tibial tendon", which means I can't run the Pittsburgh marathon this year. Although I should be fine for the Hatfield-McCoy marathon in June, the Pittsburgh Triathlon in July, and the Pikes Peak marathon in August.

I'm officially signed up for my very first 5k. It's on June 4th and I'm planning on doing another at the end of June. My goal is under 30 minutes but I would be happy with 35 minutes.

Don't think I'm going to make double figures this week. Mainly lack of time, although this sodding cough will not bugger off and let me sleep.

Found a place to run in Tunisia... hopefully we are running 3 times a week, google maps say it's a circle around 800 m. long, (probably it's more, but I'll keep it at 800m so every two turns it's a mile..) so, my first 4 turns... 2 mile :)

796.1 + 2 = 798.1

personal track 4.8. wow :P

Back up for a short 1.43 km run, or about 0.9 miles. First run in a long time so I've got some work to do, and I need weather to get better too. As a small victory, however, no pain.

818.1 + 0.9 = 819

PT: 7.1

Okay, I'm going to start contributing to this thread:

819 + 2.1 = 821,1

PT: 2,1

(In happy news: My ankle seems much better now, I was easily able to run 3,4km yesterday without any pain - so I'm going to keep increasing the mileage by 200m every time I run for the next while)

831.1 + 2.2 = 833.3

(yesterday, seems to be a habit that I only remember to add in the numbers the day after)

Edit

Todays run: 833.3 + 2.4 835.7

PT: 2.1+2.2+.2.4 = 6.7

835.7 + 3 (Sunday) + 3.3 (yesterday) + 4 today

Now I'm taking a weeks leave so I should be able to get some decent runs in (although I also ought to get some training in for the London- Brighton bike ride in June.)

It really depends on school. Right now, most of my assignments are long-term and the reading is in a bit of a lull because we're wrapping up the semester, so I can clock in a few more miles. I'd say I try to run 7-11 miles a day a minimum 6 days a week. When finals kick in, which is very soon, that'll probably drop down to 4 days (if I'm lucky) and 5-8 miles just to cut down on time.

I'm hoping to get some runs in this summer. I miss competitive sports, generally. Just having some kind of official goal would be nice.

904.1 + 7 = 911.1.
