You might want to check your spelling of the topic title ;)

I'll be at the same place I was this year!

I will be attending some graduate school I hope. Applications have been sent in but I do not anticipate a response until March. We'll see at that point but hopefully either UCSB or Stanford.

I'll (still) be at the University of Nottingham (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Nottingham)

It's a decent place, that used to be in the UK's top ten, until the league tables brought in student satisfaction, you see, as good as it is, it's very much a "I have found paradise" *wink* kind of place.

I'm a Sophomore Double majoring in Mathematics and Chemistry at Emory & Henry college in SW Virginia. Yes, the Amersand in in the official name.

Small Liberal arts colleges FTW! I personally know the President of the college and everyone in my departments, and I am on a name-to-name basis with all of them.

My first choice will be Leicester, which is #14 in the Poor University Guide, to study CS. Still undecided on my second choice.

Well this is the XKCD fora-- maybe mathematics? Or physics? Or poly-sci? Or all three? I mean, that's kinda the point of Brown, studying everything you want to and nothing you don't.

I got in early decision for NYU Tisch for Dramatic Writing. It was my first choice by far, and besides the fact that I love the program there, I really like that I only had to do one application. :D

I'll still be at Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls. Small school, boring town, but great technical programs (obviously :P). Really applied work and something like 98% of the kids from my program (Computer Systems Engineering Tech, I'm a Software Engineering major) are either hired or doing further education within six months of graduation with an average starting salary of like $50,000. :D I think I'll do alright from that.

I'll still be sitting around at the University of Birmingham, continuing my study of chemical engineering. It's a pretty big uni, on a nice green campus just outside the city centre. Woo for the train station though - it's the only uni in the country with it's own train station and it's so useful for getting into town.

WOW Someone from Michigan! *high fives* I applied to GVSU for my undergrad (accepted/didn't go there, went to OU), and know a couple people who ended up going there :) I don't see WSU on the list though *tsk tsk* (honestly though not like I really care, I figure since I'm there for grad school now I should promote it...or something...)

I'll be going to Concordia University in Montreal as a sophomore student in 2009, enrolling in math and econ double major. CEGEP accounts for your freshman year here.

I'm going to be in Durham University studying Physics.

(Oxford rejected me, but don't tell Durham)
A friend of mine recently got an EE offer from Cambridge, needless to say, I was rather annoyed.

What college at Durham? (And there are a lot of Oxbridge rejects at Durham...think I'm the only one in my flat who didn't apply.)

Actually, no. Read earlier, I am at WSU.
But I could have gone to Purdue for graduate school. My family is a Purdue family*...so I root for them all the time :D

*Grandpa was a professor of ag engineering, now emeritus. My uncle was a prof in some computer-esque department i forget what exactly, both parents went there, my grandma (biological) got her masters there, she's dead now, my married in grandma got her PhD there, a lot of my cousins went there...I'm sure I'm forgetting people too.
