So no one is going to call me out on this, huh?

Psychology, possible minor in Latin.

I thought about it, but there are all kinds of people in the world (and some of them post on the fora).

No, I've expoused my views on religion a lot on these fora. Pretty negative, ha.

I said PE pedagogy because that is what my really christian friend is majoring in.

Medicine

The systems a bit different here, so I could start studying it right out of school, without pre-med or something like that.

Political Science with a minor in computer science. I figure I'd be that superhero hacktivist lawyer I doodled my freshman year in C# class.

Undecided, with a minor in I really have no idea. I came in with my 4 year schedule all planned out for a Physics/Astronomy double major and a minor in Philosophy. As it turns out, if you can't get past calc 2, the whole physics major thing doesn't quite work out. So right now I'm just filling in all of my GECs and hoping that one of them just clicks with me. I'm thinking Psychology, Biology, Anthropology, Philosophy, Evolution Ecology and Organismal Biology, and a few others. Hopefully I'll find something in the next few quarters so I can get to work on my major requirements and get out of here in less than 5 years.

Guess who just picked up a new minor? I did! I did!

Now I'm majoring in Mathematics and Chemistry, with a Physics minor!

I'm still in high school right now...

but next year I'll be going to UW-Madison. As for my major... I'm still undecided. I'm thinking either Biomedical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. For a career I want to work in the areas where they overlap anyway, so I guess it won't matter that much.

I'm leaning towards biomedical right now though because I've always loved biology (especially biochemistry and neuroscience) and it seems that it's going to become a pretty profitable field in the next few years.

My major was Biochemistry with a minor in Applied Mathematics.
I also did a lot of philosophy courses but stopped one class short of a degree in it because I decided graduating in only 3 years would be cooler than sticking around for another semester to take the one class needed to complete it.

Now I guess my "major" is Anatomy & Cell Biology (working on my PhD).

Major in math, minor in philosophy. My major is 66 credits out of 90, how do some of you fit so many together? summer classes?

I wished my univ offered minors in physics.

Well for CS and Applied Math a lot of the required course that are in the intersection. So to get a Math degree along with my CS is just about 4 more classes. I'm not exactly sure I i can actually finish with the Physics and Philosophy minor requirements.

Yes, we have a different system here in Quebec. One less year of university, one less of high school, and instead two years of CEGEP, which is some sort of community college I would say.

You just spend two years doing at least half classes of general education (french (4), english (2), philosophy (3), gym(3)) and the other half a package deal over one area (science, social sciences, administration, humanities) where you learn a bit of everything. The science diploma for instance gives Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus, Linear algebra I, Newtonian Mechanics, E&M, Waves & Modern Physics, 1-2 classes of biology, 2-3 classes of chemistry. The whole curriculum is carved in stone.

To the best of my knowledge, AP classes are a foreign concept. I went to an IB high school and got nothing for it.

Hah, I thought I'd be the only one. Music Performance major (euphonium, in case anyone was wondering, although with an instrument like that, I probably just raised more questions than I answered...) Still need to decide a minor... could be anything from Italian to European History to Anthropology...

What's your (primary) instrument?

Kinda wanna minor in culinary arts.

I'm majoring in comp sci. but as it turns out once I'm finished I'll only need something like 3 more courses to minor in maths, so I might just do that.

Major in civil engineering with an emphasis on pollution control and water resource management, minor in biology and possibly a secondary in creative writing.

I'm planning to stay around to get a master's in environmental engineering.

Majoring in Microbiology & Immunology, and my Atmospheric and Oceanic Science minor starts next semester (in year 2). I figured out a double approach to eventually be an astrobiologist, my absolute life calling - I'm studying both microscopical life and large-scale planetary phenomena. :D

I'm also living in Montreal, and I also went to an IB high school for three times nothing. I went to McMasterville. I think we accounted for more than half of the town's population. I held and might still hold the school record for absenteism (180ish classes missed in my last year, not sick, just stopped giving a shit) and still passing with average marks. The school secretary gave me a medal and my friends made me a cake. Turns out they can kick you out for not attending in Cegep though :|

Congrats on making it through. It's a good school all things considered, and they like to keep you busy.
