So, high school seniors should be making their college decisions now. Where are you guys going?

I'll start. I'm going to University of Colorado at Boulder, majoring in CS.

I'll be going to Washington and Lee, majoring in mathematics and perhaps double majoring in computer science. I got a full ride scholarship their so I'm feeling pretty good.

I'm, uh...still figuring that one out. I've still got like, two whole weeks to decide, though! :D It's between SUNY Stony Brook and SUNY Binghamton, majoring in FuckIfIKnowology.

Looks like I'm going to Rensselaer. Really glad about it, because even though it's more expensive than the other school I was considering, by a lot, it offered enough financial aid to cover the difference. By a lot. :D

Majoring in aeronautical engineering, tentatively, I 'm really not sure yet.

Congratulations.

I'm only a junior, but I just visited RPI last week. I really liked it, and it is probably me first choice at this point, with WPI being a close second. Though I still have to visit some more schools this summer.

I guess I'm belligerently going of University of Michigan Dearborn... For at least a year... Then going to Miami Ohio or maybe changing my mind. I really want to go to Miami, but it's an out of state school, and the money is a problem... Unfortunately...

After dealing with a number of disappointing letters from private schools, I'm now excited about attending California Polytechnic State University, to study CS.

I've also stayed on the wait list at Reed, but I'm not too likely to change plans even if they do manage to have any financial aid left over for me.

SLO. Sorry, I need to get in the habit of clarifying that.

Make sure you're on top of registration. They've been having problems with over-enrollment and lack of class space for at least the last decade. Which isn't to say it's not an excellent school, of course - one of the best deals in the state, and extremely well-regarded.

I hope you get in. You're the second xkcd-er I've heard mention RPI. And lucky you got to see the campus, I live too far away for that to be feasible. What are you hoping to study?
