Hmmmm, why on earth was Sabrar the NK...

If Mark is scum, then he'd be better off leaving Sabrar alive to lead the charge against me today, and then when I go down, it would probably (maybe :P ) get him to back off Mark. So the only reason seems to be frame me heavily, but that doesn't give Mark the town cred of me flipping town if I don't get lynched.

Only way I can make sense of this is if scum really, really needed to pin the kill of Sabrar onto me to give Mark enough town cred, but that just points me back to the people who immediately jumped onto me at the start of the day, which is the same suspect list. Just have to reevaluate plytho tomorrow if the game hasn't ended (or day after, seeing as moody will probably bite the dust tomorrow at this rate) as there's always the slim chance of a bessie-Mark-plytho bustravanganza...

You know what would be helpful? mpolo and Zen saying more :P

I think it's likely moody. It's optimal to shoot Jedi though.

Votals:

SuperJedi (1): Vicarin

Deadline in about 10 hours

Please remember that you need to submit any night actions you may have before the end of the day.

It's a game. Try to be nice. Especially to the new player who doesn't understand why that vote is a problem.

For Jedi reference. If you put a player one vote from being lynched (L-1) they can self hammer and cut off discussion. I did exactly this is alien warfare. It would be even worse this game due to it being pseudo nightless.

Also marks posts come across as guilty caught scum. There's no way that I would possibly claim in that scenario with town Mark scum wam.

That is a possibility but it relies on scum pr wam as Moody would have to be town. Well I wasn't planning on claiming until Mark claimed as I didn't think I would die overnight!

Yeah, I don't think it's terribly likely, moody backing up your claim helps a fair bit.

Having night at a different time than everybody else has me constantly playing catch up.

I am a heart.

Mark_Cangila's defense exudes above all frustration at the impending lynch. He hasn't really provided any tangible defense, other than "we're going to regret losing a power role". Which is what we'd expect from a relatively new player as either town or scum in this situation.

We have two people claiming the Queen of Diamonds. Wam has been more positively read up to now, so the tendency has been to trust his claim more than Mark's. I'm just going to throw this out there: isn't claiming counter to your safe claim more likely for an experienced player than for a less-experienced one? (Mark has been in, what, three games here?) Of course, Mark was under pressure and a power role would be more likely to protect him than a vanilla claim.

Certainly, we have one scum between the two of them… Which has us in a very good position as town. I almost want to say lynch one and vig the other, guaranteeing the situation for tomorrow, but there's that possibility of a perfect game, too.

Mark was at the top of the vig list guys if you want to move the vote to towns second choice. Otherwise I've got enough targets on it that you needn't worry.

Got wifi and phone signal now! But another 10 hour day tomorrow.

Is SuperJedi next on the list?

We really should lynch Mark. If we're wrong about his buddy your vig might be stopped (and a higher chance of a block).

Yeah, it's more important to get the lynch onto Mark so that this Mark-wam situation is resolved ASAP.

Well, considering how much time we have left, no point just sitting around now.

I targeted Sabrar because I was worried he was scum. Realize that at that point I was voting Sabrar. For Wam's partner I would have to say.... moody or maybe Vicarin?

Yeah, Vig SuperJedi. We lynch Mark for sure. Wam tracks moody. Moody tracks who he thinks is most likely to be scum.

So, Mark is at L-1 and there's about an hour or so left. Is there anything more to say today, or do you want me to lynch.

For the record, Mark is my choice for the lynch today.

Kipp:
Security is coming again. Something is happening, I'm not sure what the problem is.

François:
Mark_Cangila was apparently holding the same card as another player. This is a problem, yes?

Kipp:
Well, there's four of each card in the deck...

François:
There are four Queen of Diamonds?

Kipp:
Oh? No, no definitely not. That's a big problem. Security is hauling him away for questioning it looks like.

François:
Everyone is being settled. Looks like next hand to start again.

Kipp:
Zenii goes all in pre-flop! Big pot forming up!

François:
Yes, lots of money in play.

Kipp:
And a quick call by Madge! No hesitation there.

François:
She has two kings. This is a strong hand, yes?

Kipp:
Very strong. Look at Zenii's body language. He knows he's in trouble.

François:
Mon Dieu, he has a 2 and a Jack. This is very bad, yes?

Kipp:
Very. He was obviously hoping to use the confusion to push a big bluff, but Madge has the goods.

François:
Flop is no help to either player

Kipp:
Neither is the turn.

François:
King on the river!

Kipp:
Madge wins a monster pot! She now has more than half of the chips in play. Zenii is out in 10th place. What an unexpected....

François:
......

Kipp:
Um, François, did everything just go black on the feed for you? I can't see anything.

François:
......

Kipp:
Anyone know what's going on with the feed? What's that? We've lost connection entirely? Can the viewers see anything? They just see me? Okay, how soon before we can get back up and running?

Kipp:
Sorry folks, it looks like we've lost the feed, so I guess I'll have to sign off there. For François Dupont and myself, Kipp Bird, we wish you good night. May all your cards be live and your pots be monsters!

Mark_Cangila has been detained by security and has exited the game. He was King of Spades, Mafia Rolestopper.

Zenii has busted out and finished the tournament in 9th place. He was 2 of spades, Mafia Goon.

Congratulations to Plytho, SuperJedi224, Sabrar, Vicarin, mpolo, Madge, moody7277, BoomFrog and wam for a perfect Town victory!

That's some serious Hard Mode there, though. You would have NKed Vic and mpolo over plytho? Now Zenii, BoomFrog, Vic would have been a delightful endgame.
