Whoa whoa whoa! That's game over! Debriefing time!

BIG-R-NOSE6 and AD-O-CORE6 lie dead, with no clones to replace them. They are hereby judged to be the murderers of my precious little dood, TOMMOTORC-O-DRIVEL.

BROOKLYN-R-MAN4 and K-O-ONG4 sizzle gently nearby.

AZ-O-EL5 and WEI-O-LI6 are summarily executed as traitors.

That leaves only JAY-R-SHU6 left alive. He is my new precious little dood!

When a group is accused of a crime, the first troubleshooter to lose all their clones will be deemed the criminal, which allows everyone to get home in time for tea and scones.

The game ended when someone ran out of clones. Enjoy your life! (Technically, you win.)

This was an attempt at a all-survivor game. I'm not sure it worked too well...

Links to roles and behind the scenes info will be posted later.

So that's what the point of this game was! I was wondering about all that nonsense at the end.

Eh, kanskje.

You didn't die.

You're now a dood. Perhaps consider it a half win...

Thanks to VZ for pretty much running this game for most of it (I had quite large chunks of inactivity in this game). As VZ said it was experimental, and probably not too successful an experiment.

Hope those who were involved enjoyed it anyway. It was fun designing the game, even if it didn't turn out the way we hoped.

So what were everyone's powers / alignments? It didn't seem like they had any effect, but just out of curiosity.

I was in Corpore Metal. I had an energy field mutation that would defend me from shots, but I'm not sure if that ever went off. Apparently I could also replace part of me with something metal, but I ended up being too confused / forgetful to ever use that.

That seemed to happen for most people (they either forgot or chose not to use their special powers). In fact, I don't think a single mutant power was used, even though almost everyone had one. Your shield had to be activated to be used, thus why it didn't go off.

I didn't see how useful a mutant power of seeing when someone was telling the truth was useful.
Literally no one made any statements that could be useful, and I couldn't reveal it publically unless I wanted to die.
And you thought I was crazy...

I knew that, by meta, everyone should have been a mutant, commie, or traitor of some kind, but I knew that by saying so, it would cause everyone to gang up on me. I think that the game would have gone better if people had far fewer clones.

Also sorry for the end of game inactivity, I used my phone to post in Wizardry that my internet is down at home (and still is) but I forgot to post here.

I kinda kept Brook alive! (In that all his clones didn't end up dead).

I enjoyed roleplaying as a sychophantic Computer-worshipping cult member for the first few days. Then I kinda had no idea what to do and lost interest. With no clue what my win condition was, I never had a reason to use my power (which was a roleblock), and with everyone else not using powers it wouldn't have been very useful anyway. Then I got a win condition to protect Brook, but that never really seemed to be a problem since he had way more clones left than me.

I think partly people misunderstood that clones were distinct people. So if you had to protect BROOKLYN-R-MAN1, that clone had to be protected, rather than just making sure one of this clones was still alive - same with killing. They were always missions for individual clones.

But that made the missions impossible and, thus, not worth attempting. Since the missions were the only thing I had to attempt at all, I assumed they were worth attempting and, thus, it meant the entire sequence, not just the single clone :D

You had a revive to use for your mission...

Yeah, but as soon as you revived anyone they were gonna be gunned down straight away - I saw through that ploy instantly

What was the value of completing the missions, though? I think I failed my mission D1 and was successful D2, but I didn't see any big difference in what happened after.

I'm on phone net ATM, so I don't have all my notes, but IIRC those who succeeded D2 were given red reflect armor, which I later retconned to insignificance by giving everyone orange lasers. D1 I think we gave out some extra weapons (which weren't used.) Basically the game died during day 2; people were lurking, I don't think anyone actually used their abilities after D1 or made any reference to the secret society missions until BigNose late in endgame, and no one said a word about their abilities. In fact, I don't think anyone made an accusation after D2. Faced with letting the game die, I changed the dynamic so that people could just kill each other and at least reach the endpoint of the game we'd initially decided on.
