To ensure variety, the animal cannot be the same as any found in last game's Zoo Mafia. This includes types of the same animal. So for example, last game saw both a Squirrel and a White Bengal Tiger. So those animals are out, as are Black Squirrel or Sumatran Tiger. Chipmunk or Lion of course is fine. Animals do not need to be real (eg. we had Unicorn and Sandworm last game).

For both book and animal, there can only be one of each exact one. So there can't be 2 simple Dogs, but there could be a Golden Retriever and a Pit Bull. There were grand happenings this week at Castle Camelot. A new knight, a slain dragon, a maiden in danger. But these were of little importance compared to the events that transpired at the Castle Camelot Zoo. For that was a tale filled with tails. A tale of deception and despair. Of murder and mayhem. Of vengeance and vigilantism. Let us start at the top:

In the beginning, there was the Big Bang. Over the next 3 years, I will describe the course of history that led up to the events of Wednesday the 3rd, 497 A.D. This game, while technically a turbo, will end up taking longer than any other mafia game in history as a result of the detailed backstory. And you know you dare not skip a word for it, for there will probably be important information buried in the anthropological analysis of Ancient Egypt, or the ecology of Chinese rice paddies.

[At this point, a British Policeman enters from the left. He walks up to the mod and says: "That's quite enough already. This is getting too silly! Get on with it! Get on with it!" He then throws the mod to the ground, instantly killing the fragile old man. It is now that Weiyaoli and I enter, ready to take over the story from the now deceased original mod. I point out that the British Policeman is an anachronism in a story set in King Arthur's time, and the policeman promptly vanishes in a puff of logic.]

Our abridged story begins 3 hours ago, when Brady, the hibernating bear who moonlighted as President of the Castle Camelot Zoo, was found murdered. No one felt much sadness at this, after all, he was kind of a jerk, never providing any real leadership, just sleeping and taxing. So there would be no investigation into his death. But his death did cause a power vacuum, and two sides quickly emerged: the advocates of a vigorous democracy, and the vanguard of the aristocracy. This is the story of their fight.

So, 13 players, we've probably got 3-4 scum (depending on the status of the one or more independents). It is a relief not to have to worry about a cult.

I submitted multiple choices, but got my first choice, so I'm not sure that there is anything to be gained by revealing failed choices. My choices were pretty random, anyway.

Rolespec in the last one was a little random. It came out more clearly after a day or so… (There the tigers and some other big cats were masons, and the "cute" animals were the mafia. We actually caught the red panda on his cuteness factor.)

So yeah. Let me introduce myself.
I'm Ibarra and this is my 2nd game here (well technically 3rd, but the other one hasn't started yet).
I'll start off with a few questions that I would like everyone to answer: (Basically RQS time)

1) What alignment and role do you prefer, and why?
2) Would you lynch lurkers?
3) When lynching, do you rely on your gut or your analysis?

1-a) For alignment: Scum, as it's more exciting, but after last game's loss (American Pie Mafia) I'm not so sure anymore.
1-b) For role: Investigative roles, because investigative roles = having the ability to get more information.
2) I prefer the mod deal with passive lurkers. On the other hand, I would consider active lurkers as a lynch candidates.
3) Gut to point at the right direction. Analysis afterward.

1a) I like pm type stuff, so scum, but
1b) mason roles are a favourite of mine.
2) I lynch lurkers as I believe it's a scumtell, but if someone just isn't playing the game then I leave it up to the mod.
3) Analysis all the way; my gut is terrible (too much curry.)

First things first: I have a bunch of post restrictions. So don't be scared when I'm going ALLCAPS or when I make awful puns and stuff like that. I'll try to fulfill them in the least disruptive way possible.

I think he chose Faith of the Fallen, because apparently he has no taste in books. Also, his signature. (See: HUAC.)
I don't really have a good guess for the animal. Rattlesnake? Alligator? Lynx? Arctic Fox? IIRC he chose 'wolf' last time, so I went with animals that I perceive as sly predators.

1) Brady isn't dead, but he faked his own death and now he's... plotting? (I DON'T KNOW ALRIGHT don't judge me)

I'll oblige, but just so you know... the next game you do this I'm going to start copying my answers from previous games.

1) Town, because I'm better at it. Mason, because I love having PM powers. Alternatively, anything that makes me feel like I can influence the outcome of things. I rather like being a cop because it just gives you so much more knowledge to work with, even if you're not claiming your results (yet).
2) Passive lurkers: no. Mod needs to deal with that shit. Active lurkers: yes, though I would be more likely to take it as an incentive to investigate that person's content and push them to have an opinion, and only lynch them when they're being actually scummy. Unless there are no other leads in the game, I guess.
3) I'd Really Rather You Didn't Attack People Without Providing A Reason Other Than "Gut Feeling" But Find Out What Caused Your Gut Feeling And Attack Them On That. I find that's a decent guideline to accusing people in any game of mafia! I rely on my gut to find people to analyze and investigate.

1) I quite like playing as a survivor - for some reason I seem to be able to quite well in the role, perhaps because of the need for me to keep my insanity in check. On a simple town/anti-town basis, I've got to say I prefer town - my record as scum hasn't exactly been successful... As for role, innocent child is an old favourite of mine, if only because I hate defending myself.
2) Passive, no, that's a modkill. Active, I'd normally push to get content out of them first, though voting for them may be a way of doing this.
3) Pretty much always analysis, or some other form of reasoning. I often use my gut to find people to analyse though.

I'll post some questions of my own in a bit. I'm too ~~lazy~~ busy to come up with any good ones atm.
