it is now the 27th of Advent (also known as the 22nd of March);
the Timeniversary is thus now soon to be upon us (not that anyone appears to have noticed yet);
this means the Furious Doodling will soon be too (as it had every yip so far);
the Randall Exemption is apparently not in force anymore (oh me yarn!);
this means the thread numbered 101043 would be just as affected by the RECKONING as any other thread before or after;
that will likely be somewhat disruptive for any attempts at blitzing;
I planned to join the Pynks (by which I mean the FF00BF BFFs), which would make it even more disruptive on my end;
for that matter, wasn't I already a member of those? but whatever;
I definitely planned to blitz at some soonish point anyway;
I almost forgot what I was talking about;
I totally was inspired by Talossan bills, incidentally;
the OTT is wonderfulous (and that's now actually listed in the mr0bdex, yay!)may it be enacted
that I might as well try another mini-blitz-report (which would hopefully be not quite as mini as my previous one).
JFOM Blitz Report 6
As proposed by balthasar_s, and after some consideration of both possibilities, I'm actually blitzing through the ЯОЯЯІМ ТТО. You know, I think I actually did that in the previous report too, but I don't actually recall why - or even whether. (Considering switching back to the actual OTT if I decide I dislike the experience.)
So where I was? Oh, right, NP8. OK, let me switch on the newpage-gotoer... and, there!
The ch*rp's a gnoll? I thought it was some kind of hill. Though I can imagine how a boy and a girl sitting on a black hill can end up kinky (it fortunately didn't in this particular case).
And I can say from personal experience: as long as the weather is not actively bad, beaches are awesomeful. (Sandcastles too, but we just don't get the same kind of sand today as we used to have in the late Messinean.)
Envelope Generator actually guessed the continuation pretty well... for the Sandcastle Eon, i.e. the first quarter or so of the story.
Oh, so that
is what a gnoll is. (And it just became a lot less kinky.)
Haven't seen D&D much, not really into anime (or fantasy). It does makes for quite nice stories though... (hi Torgos! wait, I haven't caught up with the Torgos series for a while, is he even still alive?)
All those people who kept seeing the comic resetting to the start panel, and not a single one of them thought to take the opportunity to get its image file. Did we ever learn the np1 hash? (Did one even exist?)
I don't think I ever had major tide problems (though to be fair Baltic tides are fairly tiny, and in most other places we just didn't stay at coast that long). Also, spoiler: it's not a tide, though it's similar.
The little bit of awesomeful verse by mikrit on NP9 must be one of the first known OTTified texts (can't recall if I mentioned any in my previous report - if I didn't then it's probably the first one ever).
What exactly will be revealed on January 4, 2013 again?
Whizbang's first bunch of quotes is pretty close to what Cuegan (can I call them Cuegan?) ended up actually saying. I don't think there'd been any text yet that early, however.
Corrado is pretty close on eventual duration (though I don't think it ended up quite feature-length - a bit short of that).
And on NP10, Whizbang is correct again. Wasn't xe still an OTTer until fairly recently?
Also on NP10, someone did, in fact, think to check the resetted panel - hash 8eb156cce (and a lot of other digits after that). Since I believe the np1 hash is still unknown, I'm assuming this is np2 - right?
[EDIT: checked, and indeed it is. When exactly did the canonical np1 become canonical again? And did it even have
[EDIT2: and noted by phlip lower down on NP10, with a link to a NP2 post that in turn links to a NP1 post. So the canonical np1 had been the canonical np1 since very early; the question of whether it ever had a hash remains open (note the much thicker lines of the drawing).]
Oh, it's supposed to be April 1, 2013, not January 4. That makes a lot more sense. (But the answer, unfortunately, is nothing. Nothing will be revealed on that particular dip. Well, not any more than on any other dip, anyway. Sorry.)
And at Beatrice the Golden's extremely insightful post, I end this unfortunately short (in terms of period covered, anyway) blitz report, because I need to do some concluding as well, and in a few minips I need to go to bed (yappocizing is complicated when your younger brother needs to be woken up at 7am to go to school).
...And while I'd rather not do it right now, I know a lot of you had been waiting for this for a while, so I can hardly deny it...Meta-Title-Text!
Comics ignored this time: 1259 (maybe if I'm particularly lucid), 1193 (probably the comic this game is least applicable to)...
...okay, maybe I shouldn't have chosen this one either.
Original title text: "I'll be honest--the 1950s were a rough time for cycling."
Meta-title text: "The 1940 model became even more popular after having been rebranded, in 1943, as a car."
There are two films that I particularly like.
One of them is a science-fiction dramatic comedy involving a boy who accidentally travelled in time. Extremely popular when it originally came out in 1985, it retains a major cult following to this day.
The other one, of course, is Back to the Future.
