Since I'm here and I love predictions I'll include a couple here.

Possible Prediction: Meagan will wake Cueball and have something insightfull to say. She seems to come out of long silences with something worthwhile.
imProbable Prediction: Meowlpies will attack from all both sides and just as the leaders of the packs leap toward Cuegan the scene goes black. No fade, no clues, just black. We watch for an update newpix updon newpix until finally someone notices the javascript alt-text. It now reads "it". Unable to let go, the ture OTTers (TOTTers) continue the story themselves. Factions break off at each story branch until there is a web of storylines. Eventually the OTA gathers these stories into a choose-your-own-adventure book (his perfect plan all along), prints one copy, and places it on a dark corner shelf in the Library of Congress. There it will sit for years...until one day a small beret-wearing girl picks it up and reads the cover. "TheMinim, start here"

I also predict I will be Pope. My decree is such
Spoiler:
Wait for it.

Corinne: And I don't get to bite people.

TheMinim: It's all cool, anyway.

And it's very cool to see new Blitzers still making their way to the present on Outside day 100 of the OTC and the OTT! When you reach this point I hope you and all other Blitzers who pass this way are emboldened to carry on!

Impatient OTTification ahead.

This is the second rendition of The Everly Brothers classic "Wake Up Little Susie" in the OTT. The first was done by mscha and can be found here.

Spoiler:
Wake Up Little Cuesie

Wake up little Cuesie, wake up
Wake up little Cuesie, wake up
The stars have gone away
We're in a bright new day
We have to reach the mountain top
We can't afford delay

Wake up little Cuesie, wake up little Cuesie

Well, how are we gonna deal with Lucky
How are we gonna not get stuck
What if I come down with lockjaw
That would really suck

Wake up little Cuesie, wake up little Cuesie

Well, we told each other that we still had some time
Well Cuesie baby we better start to climb
Wake up little Cuesie, wake up little Cuesie
We gotta go on

Wake up little Cuesie, wake up
Wake up little Cuesie, wake up
It shouldn't be surprisin'
The sun's already risin'
We need to find a pharmacy
That sells erythromycin

Wake up little Cuesie, wake up little Cuesie

Well, my leg has got a wound from Lucky
So don't just lay there like a schmuck
What if you have to amputate it
That would really suck

Wake up little Cuesie
Wake up little Cuesie
Wake up little Cuesie...

(By the way, has anyone else found the original song a little creepy? The lyrics say they just innocently fell asleep during a boring movie, but then why isn't Susie waking up? It seems as though something is horribly wrong, and the singer is in a lot deeper trouble than he's admitting.)

Just want to say how entertaining the OTT has been the past couple of days... even though the OTC has been relatively dull.

Okay there was that shooting star which was awesome and I'm so sad I missed it. Thumbs up to all ya'll that helped manage to get all the frames together. Did anyone establish what the original timing of the frames was? Every minute?

Hmm
Megan seems to be paying a lot of attention to her leg or her injury in the recent pix. Cleaning it? Redressing it? Hard to know, but it may get mentioned soon I think. Probably time for Cue to wake up soon, and she'll tell him then.

Grace and peace to the Elders who attempted to deconfabulate a ketchup and a blitz. With all the food served here in the Tabernacle, perhaps it's really a blintz? [*looks for sour cream*]

Also, Whizbang's prediction is hilarious, and very well done.

The (always-updated, therefore spoiler) image in xkcd.com/1190 is always at http://imgs.xkcd.com/comics/time.png. If you right-click and select Properties, you can see this (as "location"). However, the (fixed) source image of that particular frame is stored elsewhere. To see where, right-click on the xkcd.com/1190 image, and select "view image". Your browser will (I don't know why, maybe the javascript?) fetch the underlying source image of that particular frame, and display it all by itself. You can right-click and select Properties on that image, and you will get the hash. The source for the current image is at:

http://imgs.xkcd.com/comics/time/4cb96d ... 31f9a4.png

(This might be displayed as a link in phpBB). Anyway, once you have gotten there, copy that from your "Properties" window to the clipboard, surround it with image tags, and Bob's your uncle too.

After you've posted the ONG, check to be sure you did it right by right-clicking on the image and selecting Properties. You should see the hash, and not time.png as the location.

So no moon showed up then. This means it must be waning. Maybe even new or close to new. Solar eclipse anyone? That would be fun... I wonder what Megball would have to say about that :)

I think he meant he'd like to understand how hashes are generated. Which is probably impossible if they're hashes of random strings.

Thanks. Time is actually not loading for me at the moment ( trying not to panic, I'm sure it's on my end and not the end of Time), but I'll give it a go later. Now to think of a clever first ONG......

What if the next ONG was a hash of the previous ONGs ONGtext, or the most recent OTT post. That would be neat.

Also, the easiest way to get the hashed url of the image is just to right click and select "Copy image location" or the equivalent in your browser, then <enya>paste away paste away paste away</enya>

...except that "Copy Image Location" doesn't always work. I've been doing that for months, but yesterday I got time.png twice in a row; I finally had to select "View Image" and copy the link from the address bar. Others have reported the same behavior in the past. But "View Image" always works, because it forces the image server to yield up the proper link to the image.

Most of the time I use the network tab in Firebug to get the hash. You can see precisely when the javascript updates it this way.

If it doesn't work the first time, wait for it (or refresh). It always comes around for me.
