Tree-ish and steak-ish OTTcomic, BlitzGirl...
It looks like we had the same idea at pretty much the same Time. ("Hmmm... things are slow.... I know!!!! OTTcomic Time!!!!!!!!!!")

Mainly because; here's mine.....

We'd have to move to the OTT (Other True Thread) because we'd be discussing the OTC (Other True Comic)

The idea has been proposed. It is still a good idea. I would add: and on the back of the shirt = the title text (which would also change at the appropriate time). :)!

I think, for optimum viewing and hygienic purposes, the t-shirt should come with a speed control, so you could set the viewing time according to how long you'll be wearing the shirt. Sort of don't want a shirt that works best when worn for 4 months straight.

Yes, yes, holy Randall yes. This needs to exist.

If you have an iPad, you already have a drawing tablet and only need to buy a stylus. But then the software is different. It would be good if the pad could be controlled as a peripheral from a mac.

Was this the event that became the story of Noah's ark, passed down in the oral tradition for millions of years? That would be quite something. It seems a long time for any story to last. But as long as we've been human, we've surely told stories, and something that enormous would not be easily forgotten. I suppose there's no way to know for sure. Does anyone have any information that could illuminate the question in any way?

{P1148}
No, Noah's ark isn't a story about flooding as much as it is a story about an infeasibly large boat and an imaginary being. Certainly couldn't be based on real events.
Is that meant to be sarcasm?

It's Exodies. Who can tell?

THAT's what I should have used for my "one thing you don't know about me" post - I'm not sarcastic.

@Moose Anus - I'm afraid to find out what you (with your colorful name) used to make that TimeManip....very afraid. lol.

For the frame which should not be named.....and it's alternate name... if we're going HP on it, then how about an anagram: The Ned (frame). Others skilled at this can give it a try. The Den.... I know...barely changed. Credit goes to GF for anagram skills.

Including "frame" in the anagram: "He Meant Fred", etc.

I'm about 30 pages in the past (about a weekH behind), but here goes...

1. The page http://xkcd.com/1190/ should have the frame 0001 displayed now, don't you think? The are still future generations how haven't heard about this, and the could enjoy the thing (comic/movie/piece of art) starting from the beginning - without first reading the title text "T** e**".

2. According to the wiki, the following OTTification hasn't been made. Can it be?

Warning! Voldeframe!

3. I guess the wiki page http://xkcd-time.wikia.com/wiki/OTColored is missing some OTTifications and manips. Or are they on an other page? Should they? (I'll include my previous manips someday...)

4. The wiki's background image makes the wiki kind of hard to read. Here's another version of the same (?) image with less contrast. Could someone change the image, or at least try this? I registered but didn't find a way to change the background image.

Spoiler:
The image's opacity is 30 % on a white backround.

@superluminal: We don't really have a wiki page for regular manips right now, just the OTColored and OTTercomics pages. That might be treeish to have! (I also don't know how to fiddle with the background images, sadly. Patzer would probably know.)

There's OTThercomics for OTTified xkcd comics, but there isn't a place for general manipulations. There probably should be, but perhaps with some sort of criteria for what's included (some manips are more wikiworthy than others, it depends contextual they are)

Yeah the forum seems to be getting a bit of a rest at times now. We really need something to keep the OTT rolling. I've been to busy with work this weekend to do any more ONG's. Would be really good if other people wanted to help me make some more alternative OTC stories ONG's to tell some Pre or Post end stories. I can script them to release on the hour though mscha's site so people have something to ONG.

Aaaaerrrrrgggghhh. All alone.

You really can't trust the "who is online" thing. I signed on about 6:45 this morning, and will be signed on probably until 9 tonight, but the forum won't say I'm online for most of that. (And, for some of it it'll be right, because being a weekend I'll go do outside stuff for awhile.) But so far today I've only left long enough to make coffee and give the golden wolpy her morning pill.

I don't think we need to do anything to keep it rolling. It's rolling just fine. Not to say people shouldn't write what they want, and share what they write, but forcing the process to keep it active is probably not the best plan.

Would be really good if other people wanted to help me make some more alternative OTC stories ONG's to tell some Pre or Post end stories. I can script them to release on the hour though mscha's site so people have something to ONG.

I don't think we need to do anything to keep it rolling. It's rolling just fine. Not to say people shouldn't write what they want, and share what they write, but forcing the process to keep it active is probably not the best plan.

It tends to be quiet at wipends anyway, plus there's all those people going to other places and stuff.
