I'd just like to pack in an apology for my caseless punning, I've had far too much exposure recently due to some sackrimonious individuals in my chem class. It's not all bag, though: The OTT is quite baggish today!

Okay, I'm done. For now.

You're so weird. it's like you are just bagging for the punsaw. And why are there only donuts lying around the comfy chair and not a single bagel?

Hmm.. I haven't read this thread for like a hundred pages.. I think I need to do a bit of bagtracking. But then I would miss this...

But bag to the topic, does anyone have any nice pictures of bagpacks?

This whole last page has been a real bagsperience: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVa2MLLvk3Q&t=27s

Edit: Oh no, I punned too slow...

Hi KayZ! Image I know the temporal transition into the OTT can be a bit bumpy when you haven't been here in a while, so your delayed punning may pass. :)

That's a good thing actually, because I was able to ketchup those 100 pages, so these shouldn't be problem either.

But while I'm in the present present, I'll just leave a little something here. I did this quite a while ago and there can never be enough redundant kittens.. sooo, here is an infinite supply of redundant kittens

Edit: Infinite fixes.

Is it named Order? It does look a lot like middle-sized wolpy, but I think it is smaller. She's 110 pounds currently. They won't be following the 'eat something' decree quite as much as they'd like for awhile.

Wel, I'll say this about bag puns--they sure make the OTT raptorcattish. Y'all came up with at least a page and a half, and I wasn't gone two longpix! Hopefully you all got a grip on this bag puns thing. I wouldn't want us to be subject to BlitzGirl's reticule. I bet she's pursing her lips in disgust right now.

I want a tankless water heater, but apparently I have to wait for a couple of days to get one shipped. Do I want to be without water for that long?

How Zanclean is the leak? And how hard is it to turn the water on and off? Oh, and where is the leak?, that matters too.
It might be reasonable to turn the water on, use it/store some, and then turn it back off, and clean up the leak.

Also, you probably want to add a shutoff when the new water heater is put in. When I had a pipe break a while back (long before punsaws) I got not one but three new shutoffs. One because that was where the new pipe was attached to the old, one that I asked for close to where the pipe actually enters the house, and the the building inspector said code now requires one right by the meter, so that I can turn it off without the special water turning off tool. But the plumbers left me a tool for the time between when they came and turned it off and decided how much money it would cost, and when they actually did the work, so we just turned it back on, did what we needed, and turned it off again.
Also, homeowners insurance covered our repairs, and would have paid for us to stay in a motel if we needed to. Just don't use the word flood with them.

Thanks, SBN! Fortunately the leak was riverish, and the heater is outside the house, sort of, so it's not too bad. I think. Yes, definitely want to install a shut-off valve next time. In the meantime, it probably won't be too hard to turn the water on for short periods of time and redirect the excess water elsewhere.

Postby macraw83 » Wed Apr 30, 2014 10:04 pm UTC

SchizoBlitz Report #8

This report is brought to you by the number 283.

I haven't really found the time to do a proper Blitz recently, contrary to what I expected. I'm lucky to have kept pace with the OTT since my last SchizoBlitzpost (y'all have added 14NP to the Present while I've made 15NP of progress in the Past). I think on Sunday I'll sit and do a proper Blitz, see how far I can get. I'm pretty busy until then, doing some venue shopping with my fiancee and visiting with mom after her surgery.

Anyway, in those 15 pages there have been lots of puzzles. Word searches, crosswords, and jigsaws, mostly. There have been more wowterful OTTifications as usual, and a lot of progress made on Castle Clicker.

A couple PastPost responses:

ggh wrote:I don't really do games, because I tend to get addicted too easily, but I finally gave GeoGuessr a poke ... [snip]

I dropped about 10 minutes of my morning into a game of it. Got 5000 points on one where I was just 7 meters off (starting point was literally right outside of a particular Italian place in the Bronx, easy enough to find), but Wikipedia says the maximum is 6500? Is that outdated information, merely incorrect, or just a nigh unobtainable value? I had a second one out in Ohio somewhere where I was about 200 meters off (I had lost track of where I started, didn't there used to be a "reset" button?), and got about 4800, meaning if the max is actually 6500 then there is a lot of compression in those final 7 meters. Though it also seemed like being a thousand kilometers off still resulted in about 2000 points, so I'm not sure any more. (By the way, I was playing the USA one, which is the only reason I was so well off).

You helped Addams stay in her home, and gave her a better life. She thanks you, and so do I.

I got nothing.

Hey, when did you hit 2400? How did I miss it? Trivial but RELATED fact: 2400 was the address of my childhood home. Well, the numerical part of my address. It would be pretty confusing if someone's address was just 2400.

Anyway, have cake!

ETA some interesting mustard noted in the Otherthread for the latest Othercomic. Pay attention to the rock in the foreground:

It loses some lines in panel 3. Maybe it's a sneaky molpy? A What, even?
