I went through that twice, for a week each, when we had those storms. One in the fall, one in the winter. Unmolpish.

Tries to oblige... sees darkness, hears pouring rain. But I'll do some timey wimey stuff and you can consider the landscape admired!
I spent seven years in California; quite a contrast! It's beautiful out there too, but it's a very different kind of beautiful.
Looks like it's only going to be two days for me, so I should count my blessings. And my neighbor had water, so I could use his.
And yes Aluisio and BlueCrab, you need a permit for a water heater, even if you already had a water heater and are replacing it with a similar water heater. Our county Planning Department is know for doing all sorts of unmolpish things like that. But they do not, as I was told, charge you for it when you buy the water heater, so my friends are just going to install the new one and the county will more than likely not be the wiser. And I'm just going with the standard tank kind, because: reasons.
And yes, northern California is beautiful, and I'm only 1.5 longpix from San Francisco! So, if there's a meetup happening there, let me know. And vvn! I miss vvn.
Speaking of puns, bonus points for the reticule, Laura Mae! I had to look that up.
Good luck with your water heater! (and 24 was the address of my childhood home.)
Can someone explain the Ohio thing to me? And ENAP?
Oh, I totally didn't look it up, just happened to have
a few obscure synonyms for "bag" handy. And hey, you lived just 100 times from where I lived! (I guess it doesn't really work that way, does it?) I enjoyed the address trivia. Actually, Japan or somewhere, your address is the number of the block you live on, and then where your house is on the block. Or did I make that up? And I that that English addresses had quaint things like, "Upper Derbydarcy, Little Heathhill, The Scone," or somesuch.
I was also confused about the Ohio thing. Is it a reference to the Furious Doodling?
I loved all the cute and epsilon bugmolpies! And I loved that mrob is an other-dimensional squid, whatever that means.

(That feels really hypocritical, I'm an invertebrate punster in the Outside...)
And in the OTT as well, apparently...
Congrats! You might want to spoiler the image, although I'm not that far and I don't know if I feel spoiled by it.
So, did you keep going?
ETA Congrats, Sir monkeygentleman!
