Weird. I haven't run into a site like that in a while, except for tax related ones (which I get working just fine once I spoof IE for them.) I agree with your analogy.

The problem with sites that only work in IE is that it is a logical fallacy. IE doesn't work so the sites can't work in IE.[/joke]
If the makers just follow the W3C rules they can shove the things that are wrong on the site where they belong: with the browser makers. However, people are far to catering to self centered browser makers to do that. They feel it should look good DESPITE the fact that the browser doesn't do it's job.

Eventually I just drove to the store. And, of course, having spent money on new organized sand (sands?, I got two of them.) The rolling raftcastle decided it needed a turn. Hopefully that fix won't be too painful.

Been there, done that, got the T-shirt and put it in a time capsule to confuse the hill people.

For some reason, not only does microsft do the IE only thing with their site(understandable, if stupid on occasion, and the ties it needs to the CPU infrastructure for updates are part of the reason IE is inherently less secure) but other companies do it too for things which are supposed to be somewhat secure, like timesheet entry, web-meetings, and server access. I don't understand why at this point... especially after the last round of IE is a poisoned apple virus issues.

Phew ! Molpy back !

A few xips visiting my family in Wales has left quite a pile of ketchup, which has just been duly ingested.

First things first : condoleances, HES; it's obvious Simba meant a lot to you, and transitively, he meant a lot to all of us.

On a lighter tone, while shopping around in Bridgend, I actually saw a van with an "HES" logo on the side that gave me a huge silly grin ^^
Also, a RELATED monument in Porthcawl which will have to wait for it until I get home

I am really surprised that nobody commented on here that the new COSMOS had a reference to the filling of the mediterranean sea, even showing the same trees (logically) that Randall used in this comic. As soon as I saw it on TV, I told my wife "It's the Time Comic!!!"

I think the latest SilentONG is the first Time we've ever seen a wheel used to transport anything in a 'pix. We saw the circular view-scope thing in the survey towers before, but the only "vehicles" really have been raftcastles.

I don't think the wheel is so easily forgotten. I can't really imagine being able to build a raftcastle without knowing about the wheel.

For decree: The wheel stretcher will be used for the tallest Beanie ever!!

For some reason I was really excited to see the tower in the latest MysteryONGs. :)

Great OTTies, mscha and Zooman. Oh geez, I was missing the joke. Why is the new OTTification inside the spoiler? Haha, do I belong here if I didn't get that? lol. Adding bzar to the list. Now I'm tempted to set this up to actually be clickable...but...
Oh, whoops, your name doesn't have a z, does it b..... it's an s. Sorry.

Balthalaughter, good work using mostly Time dialogue. You're gonna have to ask the question again, is this a manip or an OTTherComic OTTification? I'm not sure I have a good answer this time. I'm leaning toward the latter.
You're on a manip roll. No bicycle pun intended.

mrob27, I have my offline Q04B game going but my left arrow key is dying, but damn if you don't earn some geek cred for supplying a WASD interface. Yay, thanks!

That is true. A Time frame, specifically, of course.

I don't think Links is related to lynxes... Links are those internet hyperlink thingies. I agree about the site working in one of these browsers, but Javascript and CSS are still fun/important, too. Having to wait for a server to do everything isn't fun on a non-fast connection.

Intriguing SilentOng device. I want to say that maybe it is a sail.

Also, pre-congrats to mrob300.

Oh, clever - there's a wheel or pulley at the end of the wheelstick that controls what appears to be a rope.

I never quite figured out how that happened. One moment he was alive, the next moment he was food for worms. I guess that's how it always goes.

Well, after the first post on newpage 836 it just couldn't go any other way.

The black object on the ground was placed there by Ms. Frizzle - that's what she's trying to use the wheelstick to pick up. But yeah, I think the idea is that they can repurpose this thing for use at the bluecave.
