Yep, how’d you know?
(Did you google or did I mention it before?)
Also: Robot!
(Current version)
56091AC9-27AB-41CB-B15D-454D3FDE74C3.jpeg

We grab the relic in autonomous, knock off the ball, scan the image, and drop off our cube in the right one... (lots of points)
Then in Teli-OP we score cubes, we can normally fill a cypher. (Points)
Then in end game we can score the relic very quickly. It’s all preprogrammed, all I do is click a button. (POINTS!!!)

I like our robot, we have a lot of innovative stuff on it.
3D brinnted relic grabber and gimbal system.
3D printed cube grabbers, with LEDs on them.
Mechanum wheels.
We can flip the orientation of our cubes.
Also our robot is pretty.
In the sense that all the wires and all the components are putt together very nicely, it doesn’t look very crazy like other robots.

We only have 5 kids on our team, and only three of us actually show up and do anything. I think we’re one of the only all middle school teams.

It couldn't have been.
Until your post I didn't even know about such thing as FTC.

It's a robot from a game about stone monsters and robot programming.
And that's a game from a story-shaped-thing.

Until recently it seemed to be a story about people performing actions.
But since recently it looks more like a second level story, the other one being the game.

Speaking of the robot, it started moving.
Also, there are multiple things to notice in the recent frames.

Yeah, much better.

Now it's possible to quickly move around and see what this world has to offer.

Ah yes, manual control. That brings back memories… though in the end I preferred semi-autonomous training.

how does this work?

I don't think I actually thought it through. I suppose "] 〖" could be defined as an ordinal number, with a value like -ω01.
The "]" would be "negative ω0" where ω0 (also called simply ω) is the ordinal version of ℵ0 (the number of integers). The "〖" would be positive Ω1 (also called Ω) which is the ordinal version of ℵ1 (the number of real numbers). See also Aleph number.
If no-one else has pulled any such shenanigans in their profile or signature, then the number of open-parentheses (or brackets) in the OTT was finite, up until page 1412, my first post. Subtracting ω0 just once is enough to close all those previous brackets. Then adding Ω1 is like an infinite number of open-brackets, but an "uncountably infinite" number, so at that point you can't recover with any finite number of ordinary closing brackets, or even with ω0 closing brackets each of which is worth ω0.

The current story is called BSTA, it is not yet obviously connected to the other stories on the botm site, so just reading through BSTA should be enough.

balthacreator has commented on the robot game, I'll see if I can't find where.

Between the 3 of us, we managed to have one semi-functional most of the time. Somehow the wolpies got fed, and not into too much trouble. Food and medicine appeared as needed.

Don't mess with this year's micro-molps, they are mean ones. (And yes, I had the shot.)

I feel it is Time for another report.
I began composing one last night, but I am glad I did not post it, for significant markers have been passed since.

I have now reached NewPage 455, 3 Newpix into the new Eon. This equates to 17.3% of the thread as it stands. (The original post would have declared 15%, which would have been more appropriate for this is my 15th post).
The cause of the acceleration in my reading was due to the imminent arrival of the 400-page mark, followed by the knowledge that the Sandcastle Eon was drawing to a close. Unfortunately I am not reading this blind; I watched the entire comic several times on GeekWagon, before I even knew of these boards, let alone this magnificent thread. Thus I already knew about the fading and the continuation, and read faster to discover the reactions of the members. The arrival of BlitzGirl in the then-present, however, was a pleasant surprise.

To GnomeAnne; I appreciate and heed your warning of the lengthening posts, and overall read-time. I can certainly predict a slow-down of my reading in the immediate future, as lectures begin once again, to a busier timetable this term. However, I shall leave the roughly calculated finish-date of December 2018 here, as a reminder of optimism if nothing else.

To TheMinim; Hi! Nice to meet you. Your timing is impeccable; I have recently met your first post in the past, and now I meet you in the present. A strange occurrence, but one I must expect if I exist in multiple times.

To Everybody; Thank you for encouragement so far. Onward!

Randallspeed my friend, I have decided to resume my blitz at NP 500, rereading the last few hundred pages from my previous attempt.
This will allow us to encourage and support each other in our journey through the vast reaches of the thread.

Huh.
Must have copied the wrong link at the top of the post.

Thanks for catching that.

I noticed it, but figured I was just missing something. :)

Because, they are little.

If a Big Bird acted like that...
Well...Geese and Cassowary do.

It is frightening in a Big Bird.
It is cute in a HummingBird.

I've never seen geese or, Randall forbid, cassowary, hovering around my plants and then suddenly buzzing past my head. That WOULD be alarming!

Is Jaxon really a name? :? Well, future genealogists will no doubt thank the parents of the Apples and Norths and Jimothys and Merrilynns of the world. I'm wading through generations of Jameses and Elizabeths and Williams. Hard to keep them all straight!

Hi Febrion!!zzz

Eternal Density wrote:Anyhow, I'm here to inform all yall about: http://botnik.org/content/otters.html

I thought that was a real thing at first, and went looking for that book. :) Actually otters, at least sea1 otterwatermolpies, are pretty barbaric. Especially the males. If a guy ever asks if you want to do it otter-style, cover your nose and run like hell.

The Lego Batman movie looked good, but I haven't seen it. I rarely go to movies, or even watch them at home, because I never seem to have enough time to watch a whole movie. Of course, sometimes I've ended up watching random stuff on TV for more than two hours instead.

I did see the superbluebloodsemencancercoffee oops eclipse. It was treeish. I overslept a bit so missed the maximum eclipse, but it was still pretty awesomeful.

SBN, your comment about someone managing to feed the wolpies while everyone has the flu reminded me of this article by Dave Barry. (There are actually two articles strung together; when you get to "Way to go, Roscoe!" it's a different article.) Hope you all feel better soon!

Continued Randallspeed on your blitz, ColletArrow, and thanks for the report.

snoreMy footnotes are pretty boring, especially compared to yours.
1 Big. This refers to both the sea and the waterotterlmolpies.
