Clearly this can only end one of two ways.
1. Raptors
2. Box of mountain lions.

Due to the success of this comic, for each one going forward, Randall is going to individually record every line he draws and post the updates in 30 minute intervals.

Just imagine if Click and Drag was done like that.

That's not "Later!", "Bye"! What will our hero do next? Run after her?
The suspense...

she didn't say 'bye' or anything, so I'm thinking she's gonna be back rather quickly, maybe she's just going to get something, like a pair of binoculars, maybe a camera, or something

Her side of the top spire is not finished...odd that she's leaving.

It's fun hearing "she's watching a sunset" and then, bam, she's gone in the other direction. haha!

“As the tide washed in, the Dutch Tulip Man faced the Ocean:
"Conjoiner rejoinder poisoner concealer revelator. Look at it, rising up and rising down, taking everything with it."
"What’s that?" Anna asked.
"Water," the Dutchman said. "Well, and time.”

I thought it was appropiate.

She stopped building for 1.5 hours just thinking, and made a dramatic decision I think. Too bad she didn't test the bridge but walks away in a "decision is made" way. I feel sorry for Queball.

I think this is equal to the 5 comics weeks. The story arc doesn't seem like it will be resolved in the next 14 frames, at least, not with any big payoff. *shrug*

And, seconded for the flag.

If they're on the east coast the sunset would be toward the left.

Of course, that's only if the body of water to the right is the ocean and not a lake or bay.

A lot can happen in 14 frames. Most of his comics only require 1 frame... I could see there being a single frame reveal that would be worth waiting for.

I've been thinking, they can't be on the seashore. Even in a secluded bay, there would be at least ripples in the water, if not outright waves. So the water has to be a lake; but what lake has that much sand on its shores? Most lakes I've ever met had dirt/mud on their shores, not sand.

I have to admit, this is by far my favorite comic so far. It's nice to be able to watch it as it changes, i started when it was like two frames in and have been checking back every once in a while.

Also, the gifs with everything so far are really nice, i wish i had the computer know-how to cap every frame and put them together. Thank you to those who do and share that awesome power with the rest of us :)

On a side not, i vote for flag or camera.

LOTS of beaches around the Great Lakes.

Having grown up in Michigan, I used to love asking smug beach-loving Floridians how they felt about having less shoreline than Michigan. Then they'd always say something about their stupid beaches being open for more than two months a year, and I'd get all mad.

Perhaps it's a closed bay, which still has ocean water and sand, but no waves just like a lake.

It seems kind of ironic - first he left her, now she him. Except he seems much more lonely now; before it was implied that he would be back, and now there is no such promise.
That sounds too gloomy. I bet she's going to come back and see he built something really cool.

That's if you're not taking into account the camera angle.

I think flag is the reason why he is still sitting on the top of the castle.
