There was someone already inside.

We finally meet FTH.
I wonder, was he sitting in the car waiting the whole Tim we played on the piano?

The model of the car (or breakdown truck) is precisely recognizable, by the way. It is a FSO Polonez in pickup version, similar to the one in this picture (but with a different rear body).

You started the trip towards the city.
You will spend over 1 hour in the car.

What will you do in this time?

If there were still any doubts that this is fth's car, the numberplate should make it finally clear.

Given that the first picture of the car appeared a wip ago and I had already recognized the model even then, not really... The semi-frontal view makes it much clearer, though.

And now something suitably molpish, I hope, as a present for you all on the occasion of this RNM. The ottified mini-musical is complete!

Time to go, it's the end of this old place we know
Though the grown-ups still will tell themselves it surely can't be so

They came back, found out why the sea went off its track
Been through many things, survived a real dangerous cat attack

I am La Petite, call me La Petite, and we float
I am La Petite, it is pretty neat on our raftcastleboat
I am La Petite, and we seem to be speeding up
I am La Petite, sand from by the sea saved on our rooftop

On our way, home was swallowed by the sea today
Life will never be the same again, hope we'll all be okay

I am La Petite, call me La Petite, and we float
I am La Petite, it's still kinda neat on our raftcastleboat
I am La Petite, I hear Cueball sees land is near
I am La Petite, ground below my feet, let's find out what is here

It's the sea, that's what Meg and Cue are telling me
It is bigger than we thought, and came back where it used to be

Rough semi-literal translation: "Be cured, wise one, by using the ass of a bun(ny). Heal well so you can become older." Assuming that at least the district indicators are the same in our world and the world of bsta, the car appears to be registered in the Nysa district. Further assuming that Wrocław is their destination, that's some 85 km or 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 hours away by car - if they are setting out from where the car is registered.

GnomeAnne wrote:I wonder if we could OTTify the entire musical and animate it using stick figures.

That was the whole mini-musical - as published on audio. It was only ever performed by ABBA in their live concerts around 1977, where it contained one more song ("Get On The Carousel"), but that was never put on a record (presumably because it doesn't work so well out of context), there are parts of it contained in ABBA: The Movie and there are some bootleg recordings from the concerts, that's all... hmmm...

Ch*irp it! Now I need to do that one too, but that one's a bit harder to figure out because the lyrics I can find online don't quite match the available recordings.

Of course, duh! I had already figured it had to be a portmanteau word, but I had been searching the wrong category of my English vocabulary: I had tried and failed to think of words for specific styles of poems ending in "-em" and completely missed that the more general term was already a perfect match.
