Naw, it's not bad, for me at least; I generally don't mind spoilers much to begin with, and you didn't really give away anything other than that there exist overflow camps, like what role they might serve in what context. So, I exaggerated my reaction a bit. But yes, I'll spoiler my own now, for the sake of others.

Added: Would be nice if spoiler tags could take a label telling what they spoil, kind of like quotes can be attributed to their authors. Maybe I'll run that past the phpBB people.

Hats betrayed us, long ago.

Ask Buffygirl for one. But!

You guys sure did a lot of talking while I was coma'ing!

Firstly, I'd like to address buffygirl!
Seems like you had some hard times a few NewPages back! Hats that got thrown away and someone thought you wouldn't be able to place it on his head properly! :o
I for one am still very happy with my hat! I just had a small maintenance related question: Do I have to water my flowers? Wouldn't want them to dry out!
So some internets, kudos and an oven-fresh Croissant for you, Sweet buffygirl!
I never watched BSG, is it any good?

It also seems like we had a near-miss with a flamewar :o
Glad it was avoided! You guys are true Diplomats! *hat off*

But...
The OTC...
It's testing us!
A sad goodbye, followed by emptiness and Castle-decay, and not a little hope to cling on...
It really made me feel a bit gloomy :(

Even my Haiku's turned a shade of grey.

Spoiler:
More waiting ahead,
now the sea conquers the sand
which was left behind.

Luckilly, not for long!

Haikus are nice.
Especially in DarkTime,
I like poetry.

And also:

Confusing they are,
all these haikus. More so, if
write them, yoda did

It will all be allright, in the end, right?
Guys?
Right?

EDIT: Apparently, I lost the ability to count to 7 for a while there :s FTFM! Weird.

Hmm, it seems like nested spoilers are illegal for me.

I'm just wondering if there are URL options we could use to get directly to the page with diff on and to the last frame, something like

Code: Select all

or

Code: Select all

Is this possible???

As for automating the posting of an hourly diff: I'll think about it, maybe this (Outside) weekend, if things are still subpixeling by then. Not sure how useful that is; might be better to keep posting a manually twerked (cut out and magnified) and analyzed version once in a while.

It bothers me when people refer to actors as if they were their characters. Bruce Willis is still alive. Okay, so I don't remember the name of his character that died, but while watching the movie I probably didn't know the name of the actor, since the character was never referred to as such (I only know it was Bruce Willis because people have been saying 'Bruce Willis was dead all along' a lot since that movie came out), so it just seems weird to claim that Bruce Willis was dead. Now it's just going to be awkward when Bruce Willis actually dies and people just say, 'So? He was dead all along.'

By the way, Bob Anderson, James Earl Jones, Sebastian Shaw, Jake Lloyd and Hayden Christensen were all Mark Hamill's fathers. In a galaxy far, far away, same-sex polyamory was the norm.

Ok......so, it's been a great many newpix since I last posted, and I honestly couldn't tell you if this idea has been suggested, but I just had a thought for the Loopists out there.

Suppose we zoom out yet again, and instead of seeing the river and whatever else is Beyond, the entire frame is inside a dream bubble hovering above Cueball and Megan, who have been napping on a beach. As the dream fades, Cueball gets up to stretch his legs and dips his foot in the water, returns to Megan, she begins to build a sandcastle like she did in the dream, Cueball helps her, and so on.....

I feel like this would be the only logical way to make it loop.
