Ditto (with the substitution of dad for mom, and 70s for 80s.. mostly.) My 5yo was getting bored with some little wooden set that made up a simple oval, so last year I finally dragged out a HUGE box I'd had in the attic for more than a few years, and we made up this with about 10% of it ... The battery operated train even works still, through it struggles with the hills..

Aww, memories! I had that kind of stuff in the 60ies, though it was all grey and wobbly, and the wheels got broken. My kids got the real stuff from BRIO - and a lot of it! No fun at all with a simple oval. We sold it off when they grew up though...

That is honestly the best walk signal I've ever seen. I don't know why, but it just appeals to me.

We have some of these in my home town, I like them a lot. The male ones have been around for ages (at least in Eastern Germany), the female ones have only been added a couple of years ago.

Anyway, it's updated now, and also I added a list of all the non-xkcd "outside" links posted to each user's page

That's strange, it's missing at least one outside link on my page. Not that it's a big deal, just wondering why that is. The one I'm thinking of is a link to the catapult game from a post on page 266 (which is, according to that same user page, also my most quoted post).

Indeed...
Magnification doesn't help much, it's just a handful of pixels:

An just when I was beginning to wonder how many frames we'd had to suffer enjoy watching Cuegan sleep... Now we have the next frame to look forward to again.
(Of course, it could be a red herring, like the appearances of La Petite.)

New theory: when the OTT has covered the full list, Time will come to an end.

So the TV shows are right: you can enhance a handful of pixels to bring out detail that was never there to begin with. Image

But I'm far too shy to ask BuffyGirl for one of her wonderfully shiny hats (yet).

On another note: I can't see BlitzGirls images (and some others) on this computer. Blocked by firewall. So I can't see the enhanced picture of the mystery mole. Suspense is killing me. Will have to re-read these pages later at home.
