Been away these past few days… over 30 pages to brown sauce…

Won't bother with a reply wall but I'm currently at the turn of the century encountering everyone sharing their newbieposts so…
yappobiscuits wrote:Long time lurker and follower of the OTC since the beginning... registered and broke my lurking streak purely because I felt it would be wrong given the current events of Time (and the fact a playlist is being put together) for someone not to link to the magnificent song "Time" by Finnish metal legends Wintersun. However as a newbie I can't post links, but I strongly suggest you look it up...

TIME! FADES AWAY!
When time fades away
And I'll never be the same...

Wintersun clearly prophecised the One True Comic…

Funny to think I only signed up to recommend a song (it was during the fading, it was too appropriate not to mention)… but once the OTT sucks you in, there's no getting out…

And thanks to BlitzGirl for the hatted smileys, can never have too many of those… Image

And look! A tree has appeared since I've been away! And a neat one at that. Which, linking again to my newbiepost, reminds me a bit of the tree from the first version of the artwork for Wintersun's album entitled, wait for it… Time.

And finally just want to say well done to ucim for those glorious screenplay-type-things!
OTTscars results Pt. 2 coming... eventually, but not from me. Seeking writer.

Could be that Cueball is molesting a berry bush in order to find food.

Now that we have two newpix with the same background, we can hunt for molpy again.
(Un)fortunately, no sign of it. The only pixel changes are Cueball, the shrub he molested, and apparently some pixels in front of where he was standing last newpix.

Just noticed that he hasn't got his backpack with him. So presumably, he's planning to return to the tree³.

³: neat⁰.
⁰: can't we just standardize footnotes, so that ¹ is always big, ² is small and ³ is neat? That'll save some typing.

I'd say it could be a slip of the mouse (i.e. an accident), but that would imply that the Lord Randall isn't perfect, and that is heresy, so I won't.

Just add them to your signature, and be sure to use them in all your posts so that people won't wonder what they're doing there. I've been thinking of doing something like that for a while.

Just add them to your signature, and be sure to use them in all your posts so that people won't wonder what they're doing there. I've been thinking of doing something like that for a while.

You know, that's not a bad idea. Except that it's more fun not to always use them all...

Also: wasn't the tree⁴ supposed to be pretty close to the river³, according to Megan? Cueball walked quite a few screens (to the right, I now believe) and no river to be found.

I'm confused about that, because haven't they been walking alongside the river this whole time? It must have bent at some point, and now they're close to rejoining it.

Considering how far they have so far traveled, I believe "close" was a relative term, but not necessarily so close as to be a literal stone's throw away. The stitched frames show that Cueball has only traveled...um...I'm not so good with Q distance estimates. Can someone calculate the number of Q's from the tree Cueball has actually walked?

Sure hope it isn't poison oak, or poison ivy. Or nettles. I doubt they have enough knowledge of their world to avoid such things.

Be careful Cueball!!

I don't think I've seen that OtherComic. See, it is all related.

That makes you one of the lucky 10,000? (or here, would it be 100?)

:? You mean one of the lucky 10,000 that hasn't seen the OtherComic? In the world? 'Cause that's a lot more than 10,000. Or?? I'm confused.

so, you're one of the lucky 10.000, too!

They decided to go through the hills instead of following the river (down a canyon?) in frames 1218 and 1219.
