To say "heresy" doesn't look real is itself heresy. This heresy is beyond all other heresy; heresy as we know heresy is not like this "heresy" heresy at all. Even contrasting "heresy" heresy to normal heresy is practically heresy, and comparing heresy to heresy shows "heresy" heresy is the deeper heresy.

Code: Select all

### 0.973
- Removed some references to old hover stuff
- More buttons
- Added some (not all yet) Boost stats
- Sometimes stats will show some extra info on a boost before you buy it
- Made Precise Placement cost a lot more: I think I never changed it after copypasting
- Heresy
That took about an hour longer than I'd hoped :(

Ah. Nope, can't see it. I'm not even getting a "broken image" blip like I did for the others. Google snake on the loose!

(Also, for me that would be the fourth image down. The google punchcard, the four boxes, and the ice sheet precede it.)

Now the snake image has been removed from the code. Maybe Randall forgot to draw it, and will put it back in when he's ready. lol. Better go coma before I have to sit in the comfy chair all night.

Edit, but not really: You're right, Blitz. Now it's up the Europeans to keep watch. Can I get a Dutch or a Swede in here?!

I assume you mean that part of the quote... unless you're a snake!! I meant that they are around to watch all night/all day. Are you?? :P

Also, I had the title text for the image....but damnit, I didn't think the code would get redacted or I would have posted it...but memory=faulty. :(

Thanks. Me too. Of course, that adoring look is for her dad, not me. To her, I'm mostly just of concern because she knows he considers me important. (It's ok though, the other Newf likes me best.)

Our dog would probably not be capable of looking at a camera like that long enough to take a picture. He would probably start licking the camera. (it's not a face so it's allowed)

Well, what you can't see, even in the uncropped picture is me crouching down to the side holding leashes. Also, that photo was taken by an actual professional pet photographer. Most of the photos I take end up as blurry black noses.

I need to add some judgement dip stuff to the department.
Also I want to add Flux Turbine and other stuff to help out time travellers.

But there's more boost stats to write up first. Also I remember something about using the F and 5 keys as a substitute for clicking for sand.

Ch*rp - at a sand rate of over a million sand/mnp, the npbs activated at about 30,000 so I didn't get any Factory Automation.... Grrr

Yeah the timing can be tricky
I was thinking of adding more characters to the shop eventually, so I'll keep The Forty in reserve for now... Though I could perhaps make 40 Cuegans unlock The Forty...
I'll look into the shop history issue tomorrip. I extensively tested it... On stuff in the loot area.
Actually I'm sure I have a single space character missing so it's chirping up the CSS class names. Maybe I can hit fix it.
BlitzGirl wrote:ETA: Love the Bag Burning boost. :)
Yay! It's really hard to figure out how effective all these interacting boosts are given how everyone has different amounts of castles and Newpixbots and redacted...

BTW that 14th river is hard to get! Yet again Affordable Swedish Home Furniture failed to quiet make ends meet, so instead I bought bags

ETA just got Double or Nothing. Now that I see it, I can see that my guess above is totally wrong. I just forgot that shop boosts need flipped dark/light. Also I wasted a few hundred thousand castles accidentally selling a river via a random click. I've been planning on adding a confirmation to that for a while

ETA and there goes the rest of my castles to DON. Fail!

ETA I returned to get Not Lucky! Excellent!! My Rivers are saved

What ever you want - I am a programmer as well...

I can also write a simple spread sheet that tells me the best next move with and without the sale or just wait for it - currently it says if I get a sale buy the 36th npb, otherwise wait for it.

ETA: I got the sale (now it says wait for it)

I am only a moderate programmer, but I run into this problem a lot with my off-the-job projects. I can't tell you how many little games I've started that are only half-way polished because I got sucked into playing my own creation. 'Course, my games are nowhere near as fancy as Castle Builder. I do a lot of VBA work, and I take pride in my skills, but I know that I am nowhere near as skilled as people that know multiple languages. Excel and Access give me all sorts of crutches to lean on that allow me to take shortcuts that I probably shouldn't be taking. But, I did build a simple RPG game mostly from scratch (I did start out with a bare-bones script someone had posted on a forum, but it was so god-awful that I ended up rewriting most of it), and I've made a passable replication of Pong, Tic Tac Toe, Hangman, Snake, and I made a kind of whack-a-mole alien shooter game that uses various zoom percentages to simulate a scope. Fun times.

@Whizbang : that reminds me of me 10 years ago, before my university days.
It's kinda nice to be doing hobby programming again. I haven't really done much programming for fun in the past 5 years.

I just got the Chromatic Heresy boost. What does it mean that it prevents saturation?

Ah, the old "Save the game, click RedundaKitty, refresh, click again and refresh, repeating until you get the result you want" trick, you have served me well.

You know plenty more languages than I, Jose: I don't understand the last two words.
While BlitzGirl is searching for a play on words, I'm going to discretely put some distance between myself and the punsaw! :)

Jose

A discrete distance would be good, albeit quite possibly so small as not to do much good. Now, getting there discreetly would be an excellent idea.

PS punsaw <==> sawn up . How appropriate
