### 0.994
- Updated version number to 0.993
- No, to 0.994 actually :P
- Added another boost for clicking, this one relating to Bags
The previous click boost was well received so here's another!
Unlike Bucket Brigade which was just an amount added after Huge Buckets and Buccaneer, the new boost multliplies everything, so it will boost Helpful Hands and company, and also boosts Bucket Bridage too.

(Also I apologise for the subject but that's what the random book generator gave me. So blame Orteil)
ETA It's defiantly at 0.994 but I'm not seeing the update live yet. Wait For It, I guess.
ETA still hasn't updated. Is anyone else seeing it? Usually it's pretty much immediate for me.
ETA it's been 45 minutes so where's my update???

ETA the game idea generator just spat out "A horror game where you go back in time to kill aliens and your only weapon is mini-nukes." sounds fun

When you read this, I will have been gone about 65 Newpages. In the One True Comic, I am at frame 970.

I'll just do a few replies to the Present, then my Travelogue entry.

⁙ ⁙ ⁙ Messages ⁙ ⁙ ⁙

From @BlitzGirl:
BlitzGirl wrote:A molpy that goes right instead of left?! This is REVOLUTIONARY! I can lead my molpies in the other direction!

So glad you like it! To round out your collection, here's an eastward-flying army leader to go with east-going beaniemolpies:
Image

And btw, I just discovered (with Nopixbot's help of course) these smileys are being archived on the wiki by some interpid soul with more time and patience than I. Thanks!

BlitzGirl also notes her shared love for The Cat in the Hat Comes Back with its cats inside hats atop cats inside hats atop cats inside hats ... a Drostekastell of mischief and mayhem.

I was reminded of it both by @ChronosDragon's hat design for me, and by @jovialbard's description of @buffygirl's (pre-boom-de-yada) hat design for @tman2nd, which I'll quote here:

on newpage 409, jovialbard wrote:"Oh me yarm, a cat in a hat on a cat... or a cat in a hat with a cat... or a cat sleepy cat hat... either way, awesome!"

I really wanted to reply to all of you on that, and hey! yes I can because you're all still here!

From @azule:
azule wrote:Thanks for that review. I totally forgot I wrote that, and I've seen that Dr. Seuss book and never thought there'd be something cool like that inside!
...
I wrote that bit and then reversed the order of the sentences (hence why the footnotes match in reverse order). It turned out cooler in reverse. :)

Yep! The moment I first saw the Cherokee_syllabary (I guess about 10 yips ago when I downloaded all the Unicode PDFs) right away I thought "On Beyond Zebra". And as it was invented in the early 19th century, it was plausible to think Geisel was influenced by it (but actually, very unlikely).

I've given up trying to have my footnotes be in order. But by using rare symbols, the reader can search for the symbols. Of course, the other reason for using rare symbols is that the numbers are taken, e.g. see @mscha's sig:
Spoiler:
Image

@ggh, I'm glad I'm making you laugh, (even if you don't remember the specifics) and hope the rugmolpies get better!

※ ※ ※ travelogue ※ ※ ※

I spent a while here in The Fading waiting for @Timborme, and coma'd in the TARDIS. One morning around frame 950 (maybe 10 Newpages ago), I opened the TARDIS door to pick up the daily post and see how more-faint the sandcastles had become.

Through the mists of Time I saw the vague shape of a Temporal Demon, who had apparenly been waiting a few newpices and holding a cardboard box. Nopixbot had prepared me for his arrival; I smiled wryly. "What's up?" I asked as I turned and walked back into the Control room, pointedly leaving the door open.

No sooner had the Temporal Demon crossed the threshold, than I heard a soft klunk as the box hit the floor. I returned to the doorway (now smelling faintly of sour mustard) and picked up the shoebox, for that is what it was. I glanced at the sign I had courteously left for the Demon:

By entering this TARDIS, You agree
to forfeit the Shoes of the High Timewalker
for all Times (afore-, now- and afterwhen)
rather than negotiate with the Blitzer residing
herein. You further agree to put your Demonic Powers
to work for the betterment of all, by Reconciling and
Bringing to a Satisfactory Completion the stories of
LOST, Star Trek: Enterprise, and the
original Foundation Trilogy. At your option,
in stead of any one (1) of the foregoing you may
provide a fitting Sequel to The Matrix.

So I am now in possession of a stylish (if somewhat worn) pair of Shoes of the High Timewalker, +200 to Waiting, no strings attached. They look a little like BlitzGirl's shoes, but I might be imagining things: they fit me perfectly, and must have been too large for her. I'm sure they'll help me in my continuing journey, and perhaps I'll find their backstory later in the Thread. As for the Temporal Demon, I suspect we'll find him far in our collective future, putting the finishing touches on some of the above-mentioned cultural works.

The Thread has gotten more and more... I guess I'd have to say "anxious", as the Comic continues to fade. It is interesting to see how people tend to lose faith in the simpler, more likely possibilities (it's not over yet, we are still told to Wait For It, and there is a Chekhov's arsenal in the dialogue). It was also fun to see how the two reappearances of LaPetite lined up with BlitzGirl's appearance online and arrival at the present. More coincidences?

The Comic has faded to #FEFEFE, the lightest shade of gray short of complete white. I'll seal my Time-Capsule now, a short coma, and more blitzing tomorrip. Into the next Era, whatever may come! :)

- - mrob27

aside from the sea1, of course.
1 which is big.
i.e., not in BlitzGirl's basement.

- end transmission -

Um, so 0.993 was still called 0.992 so I made an 0.994 with the right version and a new boost. But that just never showed up live, for unknown reasons. So I made an 0.995 with another new boost and a couple of minor changes and that DID show up except I somehow included a syntax error so it doesn't work at all. So I fixed it and made an 0.9951 but that's not showing up online and neither are the minor variations 0.99511 or 0.9952
So http://eternaldensity.github.io/Sandcastle-Builder is dead at the moment.
BUT
if you try http://eternaldensity.github.io/Sandcastle-Builder/?1 it does work. At least for me. Because page caching. Steambottle.
This is annoying.

Edit: 0.99511 and 0.9952, NOT 0.95511 and 0.9552.
