Well played, Storm Angle.

So I just finally got around to making Shopping Assistant remember your choice on reload so I don't have to keep typing Crate Key into it.

Nah, seems more purple. Might it be a iodine gas cloud? That means the temp is above 184°C (363°F) and thus not a good place to be in. The cloud will probably roll over Isle d'If and kill all Beanies. Thus end the Beanies.

YESSS! I missed the Thus ends predictions. Hee hee hee.
I missed doing them too.

Tehee, I am a piano teacher. Never knew I was that good.

As you can see in the past few Beanies the gray block was a slave pen. Now that the masters on the boat are washed into the sea and killed by a passing Kraken the slaves have the opportunity to escape. The slaves will make it to dry land. There they will assemble an army and attack Isle d'If, killing everybody. Thus end the Beanies .

HES wrote:2.4 million views. That's a lot of crazy people.
BlitzGirl wrote:Or a small number of people being crazy repeatedly.
Math to the rescue!

We have a lot of pages, and each different page load is a separate view. So, we ought to have lots of views if people are keeping up with the whole thread.

2.4 million views / 1.6 thousand pages = 24/16 thousand views per page, or 1500 vpp. If each page gets viewed once, that's 1500 followers. For three views per page per person, that's 3 vpppp, which is more likely, we get 500 regular followers. These numbers are similar to Kieryn's and Sciscitor's data analyses.

Picking another comic page at random from the top of the list (0792: Password Reuse); it has five pages, and 11288 views. That's 2200 vpp, slightly more than us but still in the same ballpark.

0137: Umwelt has 12 pages and 178519 views, implying 15000 vpp, a factor of ten larger than us. Lots of readers, not much posting.

I'll let somebody else send Python& to the rescue to figure out the rest of them.

I just saw Gravity. I saw it in 2D because I've yet to see a movie in 3D that was worth the diminishment of brightness 3D entails. However, Gravity has a lot of stuff flying around and so might be prime fodder for 3D effects.

It is beautifully shot, and I love being in the spacecraft. It was certainly exciting enough, but I found it as patronizing as the trailer made me suspect it would be. I'd like to see them make that same movie and switch the sexes. I also doubt (but don't know) that they'd have bare legs in a spacesuit. I'd want some sort of long undergarmnet to protect against chafing. I think they played a bit loose with the physics, certainly at the end. But hey... Hollywood. And pretty scenery - I never get tired of earth from space.

@StormAngel - No prob! Easy when I have all the seperate tracks in Logic to just export those for you... Here's the piano part on its own as an mp3, and a midi file. I tend not to produce sheet music, I find it an unnecessary middle-man and tend to go straight from the idea in my head to the recording/production. Hopefully the midi will be useful, but I just exported it straight from Logic and it seems full of mustard - the notes are right but it seems to be split across a chirpload of tracks, I dunno what's up with it...

StromAngel has a pretty treeish electric piano :D

And here's some hotdog:

Code: Select all

## 2.93
- Shopping Assistant remembers your choice. (BTW it doesn't work for Bigger Buckets. But you probably already have that)
- I think I fixed the issue of free boosts not being bought on occasion: castles were NaN after spending infinite castles
- A bunch more boosts for glass castle tools

Maybe on the wipend (or even tonip) I'll get to work on the otherhotdog a bit. I'm starting with procedural world generation. It's really tricking figuring out how to make things flexible but still have structure, and have a sensible number of database tables required without needing lots of redundant code.

Now see, that explains why I didn't know it, I've never had to use that summoning chant. That one time I went on a lovely seaside holiday, Cthulhu was already there so didn't actually need summoning. It was ok though, Nan had been grumpy the whole time so we just fed her to Cthulhu and had the most molpish time. Image

To be honest, the OTT's anti-pope Wraithlord actually used the phrase 44 different Times between newpages 121 and 209 (hence why I thought more OTTers might recognize it).

Well, I found the pic of the hat cake, added the gingerbread crown and flag, then did the writing myself. But I certainly didn't bake an actual cake :P

Redundant preemptive clarification: My "what a coincidence" was a joke, not a misunderstanding of your statement about being a piano teacher

Me being a piano teacher is also a joke. I haven't played in approx 175 KNP and I was never very good.

If is wasn't a joke, my own would have been a misunderstanding.

Aww, so you mean I won't travel back in time to teach you after I learn how to play the piano? So you mean it wouldn't be temporally interesting for me to fly to Australia and have you teach me how to play the piano? Aww.

The midi displays weirdly in MuseScore (as it has done with other music previously) with lots of tracks, but it all shows up in one track on my piano :?
Would it be [easily] possible to export all the tracks together in one midi?

I tried playing it a little while ago, but I think I need more fingers for some parts, or at least a lot of practice
So I just let it play itself several Times with different voices; it sounds pretty neat with some of the organ sounds - and I tried an accordion too
