I'm up to page 518 out of 1977, or 26.2% of the way through. Just 1459 more pages until I'm finally free!

In the comic QB and M found a river, lost a water bottle, and are discussing what to do next. In the thread people have been discussing the comic and rewriting song lyrics and making animated avatars (as they do).

Exodies wrote:
woods wrote:Or alternatively, if Cueball turns to Megan and makes a dumb joke about perhaps finding a Chevy instead of a Ford. To which she responds "Or maybe a Mini-Cooper?"

That would be definitive proof.

If Cueball tried to make a joke, the poor lad's head would explode.
Is there anything else they could find which would prove something?

I suppose they could find fossil rabbits in precambrian strata, which would prove that there is a serious problem with the theory of Evolution. Or they could find a crocoduck, which would do the same.

diego5wh wrote:... it would be interesting to see how many post more than a few times, also i am really curious to know how long this tread is going to go on after we are done waiting for it (if we ever are done)

Do people up there in the far future have an answer to this question yet? Also, do you all fly around in jetpacks and ride on hoverboards and breathe air out of cans and the like, oh incomprehensible and surely hyper-advanced far future OTT denizens?

Argghhh, I keep trying to stay away, then I keep getting pulled back in!

Following Time after Time on a daily basis, and enjoying the reveal.

Also, just found the Sandcastle Builder game, and have been put to the task. Of course, I may be heretical and have created a molybot to do some functions without me looking.... But I intentionally set it up so that it only reacts to things the user would be able to see unaided and is not modifying/reading any values directly.

(and many more "sorry's" from ED)
Compatibility checking is a nightmare. There are far to may browsers out there! Next someone will try to open it in Lynx. And once you fix that someone will try Links. And then someone develops a new browser that chirps other things up.
You are making an awefulsome game. You are doing it for free. There is no need to apologize for some mustard. When making hot dogs some mustard may be spilled. I am grateful that you are willing to spend so much time to make this game.

Thanks for your understanding. Henceforth I shall refer to the game as a hotdog.

I have now seen the hotdog connection, and it makes perfect sense. Before, hotdog and game were just two very different words that meant the same thing, but now the two are forever inextricably linked.

Speaking of the OTH... I spent all of my Blitzing time today playing the hotdog instead of Blitzing. As I've been reading through the updates as they've been happening, I've realized that there was a lot more to the hotdog than I had gleaned before. Like, this thing is deep. So, I molpied down on the one I had going (I don't remember what all upgrades and stats I had, but I'm fairly sure my NPBs were each making about 4k per newpix, but I didn't really have any sense of direction at that point, and I think I was at the M order of magnitude as far as castles go) and read the Wiki pages to really get started. That was yesterxip afternip, and now I have 5 rivers and a stealth streak of 24, almost to the point where 100k castles is an easily attainable number. Now that I know the pattern for how [redacted]s appear (though I know that's no longer the name, that's one term for them in the beforewhen through which I'm currently trying to Blitz), it has gotten a lot easier to build quickly. I think I should put that on hiatus for right now, though, until I have made some significant progress with my Blitz, because treeish. And seaish. And holy-hell-why-have-I-accomplished-nothing-toxip. But also quite steakish.
I appreciate your feedback :D

Are you suggesting that semen is both a particle and a wave?

In this case it is still big. The Mediterranean sea is 2,500,000 km2. Linear scale of 1/20th means surface area scale of 1/400th. Thus the area of the model is 6250 km2. Still big.

This looks like France, though that would mean a large distance to walk between the bluecave and the tents. Far more than I thought it would be.

Blitzing temporarily stopped because of exams. 6 this week. And also demustarding.

dnsdynamic.org is still ignoring their dnsd.info mustard. I thing I'm going to find another DDNS. Can you recommend something?

I am. I've also lived in Germany for a few years as a child.

I approve of this comment.

I don't remember if that was in the past or in the not so present present, there was a discussion whether the forty knew the wheel.
The trebuchet has wheels!

In the past, OTTers are explaining their usernames. I think it's time to explain mine.
My username is balthasar_s. Balthasar is my real name. When I joined the xkcd fora I didn't have anything else for username. If I joined the fora when I joined the OTT I would not choose this username. If I joined now I would choose this username again. I like the redundaname thing too much. In otherplaces I use the name "Rowery na Księżycu", "rowerynaksiezycu", "Bicycles on the Moon", "bicyclesonthemoon". It's because I'm the one responsible for bicycles in our secret base on the moon I didn't write anything here.
Somewhere in 2009 I made this drawing. Not a very good drawing. But the first with a bicycle on the moon. I don't remember where this idea came from. Some weeks/months later I made a small bicycle of wire. It was perfectly sized for the astronaut figure I have. So I took this picture. And that's how it was done. With colors removed it looks like on the moon. That's where my avatar comes from.
In December 2010 I had an idea for an otherothercomic. It was about a small group of people that discovered that Earth is not a safe place for them to live any more, so they escaped to the Moon to build their own empire there, become powerfull, and take over the Earth. The plan failed but they managed to establish our Moon base There is no moon base, really.
The comic needed a name. I remembered the picture and I named it "Rowery na Księżycu" ("Bicycles on the Moon"). Later, there was also a second part, "Prezydent Ci spadł z głowy" ("A president fell off your head"). The image in my signature comes from there. At that time it was only the name of the comic.
When I started my youtube channel in 2012 I used the name "Rowery na Księżycu". Mostly because the comic, and one of the comic's characters were listed as the ones who present the "Wiatr słoneczny" ("Solar wind") film. But a youtube channel comes together with a google account and I got a rowerynaksiezycu@ email. That's when I realised it's a good name to use anywhere else. Also nobody else used that name.
Recently, I found out that there is another bicyclesonthemoon. On tumblr. I'm not going to use tumblr anyway.
Is there anything else that needs to be explained?

Yeah, France was my first thought too. But even if it was the right shape, which as it turned out wasn't, it would made no sense how would they know where the borders are (or what 'borders' are at all). And, of course, now that we know it's water around it, it can't be France unless something horrible with the European continent has happened. Now I'm wondering why hasn't she drawn the coastline at the bottom left corner - maybe there's no coastline and it's a peninsula?

Is that how Americans have filmed the moon landing too?

ETA: Wow, I'm a goat of this page and I also have the second post on this page (do we have a name for that?)... and I'm also an almost-goat of the previous page (it's the last post posted by a human)... I guess the Thread doesn't want me to make a pope. Not that I yearn for it, I wouldn't know what decree should I make anyway. :)

Time. The final frontier. These are the voyages of Cueball and Megan. Its continuing mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no one has gone before.
