I almost think releasing frames slow enough to keep up with might make me just as crazy as too fast to keep up. Mountain/volcano/alien reference. *shrug*

Yay, I was helpful! BTW, ExplainXKCD has it broken down by hour if you want to see how things are progressing.

Something is WRONG! That just doesn't make any sense. She should move if the water moves!

DonJaime wrote:Of course, it'd be trivial to adjust the update frequency periodically so that an finite number of nеwpix last an arbitrarily long period of external timе.

Arbitrarily long, yes. Forever, no. With a finite number, n, of frames, the last one must display at some given time, or else it never displays and therefore doesn't count as a frame at all, hence we only really have n-1 frames. This allows an indiction down to 1 frame, the base case exhibited by almost all xkcd strips.
Related, there must be a finite number of frames, as each is identified by a 256-bit value. Although end of the universe places a tighter bound than that.

Good point. I've been lagging the real-time posting and reading well after the fact for most of this thread so I don't think I've missed too many, but there have been times (especially last week) when I thought I was 'current', so I probably did miss some retroactive post-approval posts.

Ok, so given the 8200+ posts in this thread, I'd guess I missed maybe 25 at max, so that's a 0.3% margin of error. And that would bring the 'Rational and Sane' level down to the much-more-likely 0.0%.

So I'm a 100%er (+/- 0.3%)!
