One was after a full stop, the other wasn't.

That or the molpies are undernourished due to lack of grapevines and have started stealing punctuation

Maybe, it (punctuation!) is. just--waiting, around; to, over-take--a per-fect-ly: innocent: post?!?!

ETA: in the blitzing, I'm just up to the parallel drama of the attack by the raptorcat and Megan's injury and (in the OTT) the self-imposed exile of one (or two) of the Order of TimeWaiters.

My parentheses (unless they (parenthesis go crazy!) are never unpaired, and so never lonely!

Not-so-deep Musings: do you suppose that, just as the occasional person has multiple personality disorder, a parenthesis can have singular personality disorder?

Hmm. We should have an OTTer holiday every April 10th where we all go out and watch the night sky.

Congrats BlitzGirl! It's appropriate that you have 7500 posts at this point. 7500 is the squawk code for a hijacked airplane, and it's still undetermined whether or not the real BlitzGirl has been hijacked. Maybe this is a clue?

I'm also getting a bit worried about Kieryn. His Fractories has been on "next update in 11 days" for... well... a long time. Maybe it hasn't been eleven days yet and we just have to annoy TheMinim. But keep an eye out for a stray Kieryn!

Thanks BlitzGirl. Sadly it's, not quite what I'd hoped. *goes away and modifies theory slightly*. Right, here we go:

Under what circumstances do large numbers of people start wearing hats? 1) The OTT happens. However, our hats here are too varied to all be classed as Beanies. 2) Everybody is trying to protect their minds by putting on tin foil hats. But the beanie hats don't look like they are made from tin foil, so not that either. My theory is that it is unseasonably cold due to a late winter, thus the people are trying to stay warm. Cuegan don't wear them since they are from a much lower lying area and thus the climate is much warmer. This idea came to me one morning on my way to work, when I spotted that everyone outside appeared to have suddenly started wearing them, including myself!

Congrats BlitzGirl on the RNM. Not that far now until the big 10000!

That depends on what Randal has up his sleeve. Landing gave you what? over a hundred posts? What would happen if he started with an experiment with procedurally generated frames for Time 2? What would happen if he started with something else that just caught you?

You may not have enough Time to sweep the molpies and summon the floors.

*ponders over procedurally generated frames*
hmm, you could start with a procedurally generated semencofeecancerbabies castle like suggested somewhere around NP 400. Then you could just have them start walking in a procedurally generated country (manual switch to that) and then you could have.......

Nice raptorchirlpies! We--my brothers and I--used to use primitive lego-type bricks--and they were bricks, with the vertical lines and all, in green or red, with white longer foundation bricks--to make lots of things. They did need a bit more imagination, but you could get good at that.

ETA: I'm all for baking, taking pictures of, and eating cakes--if I only had a kitchen, and ingrediments, and time, and skills. <sigh> Guess I'd better use my vivid imagination, but it's hard to share that with everymolpies.

Hi, everymolpy! Not in the basement, I've been reading but mostly on my MTA (Miserable Time Accessor) so haven't replied to stuff. The Outside has been consumed by planning holiday travel and looking for a newer carcastle. I've been looking on sites like Autotrader.com, but though they have all sorts of dropdown menus to filter for various features, none of the sites have a menu for number of timpani you need to carry. Makes finding the right carcastle difficult.

Oh, someone had mentioned using the phone's feature of adding OTTish words to its dictionary. I know about that feature but kind of forgot about it, since usually it's asking if I want to add a word like, I don't know, "wamt" or "teh." I seem to have already added "amd."

There are other things I'll try to reply to later, but I want to say nice ottercomicking, Zooman and HES, and happy 7500, BlitzGirl! Wow!

I'm also very relieved to see mrob. I was getting ready to send him a PM, since he hadn't been seen in a while. Heading towards the basement is a slippery slope.

No, seriously, there's a slippery slope heading towards the basement. We really should fix that.
