Also, don't be surprised if the Outside is full of scattered colored and cooked eggs. Apparently it's a thing.

I finally got my MOLPY plates!

That inspired me to think about other possibly OTTish numberplates, aside from personalized ones.

There once was an entire district in northern Germany which until 1977 had OTT as its district code, derived from the very molpish place name of Otterndorf:

Other plausible OTTish numberplates I came up with (created with a numberplate generator):
Spoiler:
Current German style:

District code MOL for Märkisch-Oderland in the state of Brandenburg (MOL:PY 1190 is unfortunately not possible because a plate cannot have more than 8 characters):

District code MO for Moers, recently re-introduced by the district of Wesel in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, not too far from Bochum:
Image

District code M for München (Munich) in the state of Bavaria:

Older German style:

And a Swiss one with the code TI from the Italian-speaking canton of Ticino:

This numberplate generator was used for the German plates, this generator for the Swiss one.

So I have my bftf viewer and the t1i viewer.

And then I thought, Why not make a more general viewer?

And I did

http://1190.bicyclesonthemoon.info/aftertime/viewer

It has all Aftertime stories and also Time.

It also has what is not in mscha's viewer:
The Zanclean Zodiac with azule's OTC Field Report,
enhanced Timeframes from the Fading,
Did you notice... posts from t1i.

The numbers are the same as in mscha's viewer.

It doesn't support ONGoing stories (but it will), so you can't view bftf from there yet.

ETA: Why did my color change? I don't remember applying to any usergroup?
EETA: It's a madness forum game  (f=14&t=111518) And apparently they choose people and add them to the FF00BF BFFs. But why?

ETA: Googlebot started reading frames from /aftertime/viewer?story=t1i.
I only linked the viewer without the story parameter. So
someone ninja-linked it
or
googlebot interprets forms.

ETA: ninja-rezilibaniatsuS.

It's a story about a small group who split from their tribe to go on a long journey away from their home to avoid a coming disaster that will destroy their home, and their journey involves following a river for a bit, encountering trees, various other creatures, and new things they don't understand. They eventually end up on a high hill where they find refuge. They also later have dealings with a new group of people they meet who have ways and customs foreign to them, who try to keep them there only they escape by running away. They also use a makeshift raft to make their escape, before eventually establishing a new colony in their new land.

I can't help thinking Richard Adams got that idea from somewhere, but I can't put my finger on it...

Given that Watership Down (which I'm a big fan of, btw) appeared many years before Time, maybe the implicit question should be put the other way round?

Another parallel: both take place in identifiable locations of the outside world.

Madness affects signatures.

I don't have an option to not download images from signatures.

Should I stop archiving images completely until madnes ends?
I don't think so.
It would be unmolpish in case of mustard.

If an image link is madenssed it won't work and it will not be downloaded.

If it is madnessed to something that does work it will be downloaded. But after madness the pages are reketchupped and thus demadnessed. And we just have an extra image left over. Not a problem.

I come back from the rabtor-related holidip and find things are beginning to get a little pynker and a little more universally silly (as compared to a typical mip when the OTTers seem to have cornered the market on silliness).

Regarding bOTTeriada, I want to point out the obvious, which is that ONGs have slowed down again. RELATED to this, some may notice that I changed the ONG frequency slowdown algorithm. I originally set it up to go from 4 np per ONG to 8 np, then 16, then 32, etc. Now it goes from 4 to 6 to 8 to 12, 16, 24, 32, etc. Each frequency is used for about six ONGs before it slows down to the next-slower one. It slows down a total of 20 times before completely running out of material. So if you do the math you can see it will take a while to completely run out. Hopefully it will speed up again fairly soon. Parts of the story I am working on now are fairly intricate and have required some custom botbuilding (or as is the fashion, "ant-farming")... but hopefully you'll find it to have been worth the {Spoiler}.
