Haha, I would love to see something like this in action. Also curious as to whether the WRONG refers to yelling at strangers from the sky or the business making money.

I think it's the second one. A business does not have to make money if it's run by BHG. People suffering is payment enough.

I guess the business plan could be to get people to pay to have the drones ignore them.

I'd love the drone if it weren't for the last part.

Sure there wouldn't be privacy (ok, the illusion of privacy) any more, but on the other hand those drones could come in useful.

"Hey drone, P = NP"

Of course, a 2nd BHG might just ask the following:

"Hey drone, this sentence is inaccurate"

Eventually a national "Do not WRONG!" registry is created.

Plus think of all those internet startups with lots of users, a ton of money from investors, and no actual revenue. But apparently they're successful, and often valued highly by the stock market. So even in real life you don't need to make money...

"Wrong"

Because, right, wrong, and inaccurate could easily be disjunct descriptions of a sentence's truthiness.

This city is afraid of me...I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll look down and shout "WRONG."

And the agile UAV maneuvers fast enough that all your shots will lag the target - adaptively, watching how you react and where your rounds come back down. After the first 5 rounds, it has learned enough to fool you into firing straight up, so that the last 10 rounds fall back down directly on you.

Never bring a gun to a robot air war.

My thought too: BHG's business is making people suffer. He will gladly subsidize that business if necessary.

from a technical stand point, business's have to aspire for profit, otherwise they aren't a business. Doesn't necessarily contradict the comic though.

I have motivational issues, and I often feel like it'd be best if someone or something were watching me to make me do what I need to do. This includes things I enjoy doing anyway. One thing that stops me from having people remind me in real life is that I'm afraid of what people might think of me if they realized how often I lied about working on stuff and so forth.

The drones would eliminate that last part, and since I couldn't drive them away (easily) they would be constantly reminding me that I need to do things, or that I'm doing things wrong, etc. I think they would genuinely help me.

Also, as a Nexus 4 owner, I would totally use that version of Google Now.

I kind of want to tell that character:

I might get a WRONG. Or I might not.

You have to make money (or at least break even) to survive long-term, but not necessarily from customers. Money can come from investors or government or donations as well.

From Google:

busi·ness
/ˈbiznis/
Noun
A person's regular occupation, profession, or trade.
An activity that someone is engaged in.

So technically zero money could be flowing in and it still counts (although BHG is just being picky then)

But that can come from elsewhere in his corporate empire...

So long as he retains a controlling interest in his corporations, he can do what he likes with the profits...

The 16th drone arrives with an invoice for using the previous 15 as skeet. If you refuse, it reminds you that not paying your outstanding debts is WRONG!

(Yes, of course they know how many rounds you have. They know everything!)

PS: does anyone else hear the drone as voiced by Lex Luthor?
