It looks to me like
The Evolution of Threat
Displays in Mammals.

Thank you for typing all that out, i understand it better now. Also, my second (kind of rude) post was made in a moment of frustration and would be something i would usually instanly delete after posting (in a place where deleting your own posts is possible). Anyway, thanks for explaining.

Also, FWIW, the source code for the page shows that the thesis is titled "The evolution of threat defence in mammals". (It also transcribes the text in the comic as "The best thesis defence is a good thesis offence" - so, Randall, or whoever, wrote the source code using the British spellings for some reason.)

However, the word definitely looks like "displays" to me, and that makes more sense to me as well.

This may be the first reaction gif I've ever seen that made me happy.

IMHO, the word offence with the emphasis on the first syllable isn't really part of British English at all. For me, the opposite of defence is attack; I only became aware of offense in that sense when handegg, with its ridiculous substitution of the entire team every time possession changes, started to become known in the UK.

Thank you for bringing that back up.

Mordor?
Donny Trump runs Mordor.
He is always dashing careers with glee.

oh. no.
That's what we get for letting the successful capitalists run Education.
What else makes sense?

Our people want to be successful.
Only successful people know how.

Doctorate Candidates face Donny Trump and Boner (da--da--da--dum) The Orange Men!
Just for fun they can throw in Barney Frank.

No. Not the dinosaur.
They look a little alike.

The dinosaur is nice.
Frank isn't.

Who runs the world?
Smarty paints that get the details of each and every reaction correct and then don't react to the camera properly.

Or, Bonner?
Bonner is the answer and I am not sure why.

Is it because he shows up?
In school we were told,

"The world is not run by the Best and the Brightest."
"The world is run by people that Show Up."

That is one reason to be in the meetings.
The other reason is that if you are not there;
You may end up with Hard Duty.

Isn't mounting PhD heads above your fireplace a federal offense?

The usual practice is to use their reanimated corpses to do your menial work at university, while you the professor quietly sips his (or her) bloody mary on a tropical island.

Also, if you had left out "heads", your post would have been funnier - because we would have been left in doubt whether you mounted the heads of the PhDs or your (paper) PhDs on trophy plaques...
