Not seen any Koala related entries at all. I think it might be quite literally randomly losing data.

Mostly seeing spaceships, space jam, the moon going funky, the sun, weird timewarps, cats, ducks, pizza, cake, selfies, moustaches, and turntables.

Did bump into a quite a few sentences which very literally matched images I'd seen pass by earlier, not often as suggestion though.

Still gathering data. The findings are not definite.

Gotta love these reasons for data loss.

reason for data loss: server fell in ocean
reason for data loss: illegal carrot detected in mail queue
reason for data loss: the butter you have dialed is invalid or no longer in service
reason for data loss: error: error code [error] while decoding error code
reason for data loss: dictionary too stiff to read
reason for data loss: unexpected timezone drift desynchronization
reason for data loss: floating point unit no longer afloat
reason for data loss: firewall caught fire
reason for data loss: mean connection time exceeded
reason for data loss: lights are out, hard drive is taking a nap
reason for data loss: i hurt myself today / to see if i still feel
reason for data loss: virtual memory got too real
reason for data loss: microwave running
reason for data loss: lp0 on fire
reason for data loss: server aperture too narrow for capital letters

So, I saw this. No idea how someone embedded a grayscale image. I tried figuring it out but my Javascript knowledge is pretty limited.

I can't link to it because I haven't posted here 5 times yet, but here's the url with spaces in it: c0. xkcd. com/xb/image/188862ea-289c-5a46-9917-9dc300ca8fbd

Anyone else notice that the image background is grey, but if you use the eraser then it's white?

Yep. The image background is actually transparent. The eraser isn't so much an eraser as it is a white brush.

I used to own a Ford Taurus SHO (two of them, actually).

There was forever discussion about whether it was pronounced "show" or "ess-aych-oh". Both were perfectly acceptable and interchangeable, working depending on the context.

For example, if I was talking about a Taurus SHO, it was usually "Taurus S-H-O", but if I was talking about the SHO Club, it was the "SHO(w) Club" or the "V-8 SHO(w) Club". Or, in casual conversation, some friends would ask "How's the SHO(w) running?" while others would ask, "Has your S-H-O blown up yet?"

Same with 'ess-cue-ell' vs 'sequel', IMHO. Sequel-server, S-Q-L statement, etc. And, in reading what someone writes, the preceding article (a/an) just affects the way I read it, but I can read it interchangeably, as well.

YMMV.

No, but I could tell that you didn't pronounce it the right way.

So, how do you get to do drawings? All I can do is pick captions for existing drawings.

You should get a drawing option if you keep trying. It'll come up when you are given a chance to pick a picture.

Nah man don't you get it, we're all Batman. Look for the Batman within yourself. The cat is just, like, a metaphor for life, man.

I don't know if anyone sees anyone else's submissions, and that might be for the best, because, well, I did the only cat doodle I can do.

"I've found a new way to feed the poor."

My image: Cat doodle, 'but I eated it'.

Not sure how I show that here. It's probably for the best.

I finally saw a picture I'd drawn in the feed for the first time. And it was one of my earliest drawings, from about 15 hours ago.
I've made about 40 of these and this is the only one I've had reappear.

Well 18 hours later I'm still getting a lot of the same stuff I was getting this morning, so obviously only a microscropic fraction of the submissions are actually being used. That's disappointing, I submitted some really funny drawings and messages. I understand that if everything was accepted it would be like 90% dicks, but still, almost nothing is being accepted. I saw a few hundred things this morning at 6 AM, and then I checked now and saw about 50 things, and about 10% of them were ones I had also seen this morning. If my math is right, that's a bullshit percent chance of goddammit.

Oh well. If anyone saw a urinal with a pizza in it, a volkswagon bus to the moon, or a hairy dude with a human face embedded in his hip, those were mine.

My boss at my IT job pronounces SQL "sequel" but the professor of my SQL class in college pronounced it "es queue ell". According to wikipedia, the latter is the official correct way according to the documentation, but the creator of SQL pronounces it the first way. So the only thing that's actually wrong is to tell people they're pronouncing it wrong. Unless they're pronouncing it "squall," I guess.
