I'd fight this Moral Guardian Troll again, but it's so not worth it. Could somebody please grab this dude, take him to Blue Hill Avenue or Dudley Square in Roxbury (since that's closest to him), and let him go for about 10 minutes, see how long he lasts before he shits his pants?

Roxbury isn't that scary.

If you think I'm a troll, I don't think you understand what I'm trying to do here.

Well, for me it was your follow-up where you were staying "in character" that started to make me worry... at some point, the persona becomes the person (especially online).

How could we not expect that? (I nearly did it in the first place, as it happens.)

And to keep this at least a bit on-topic:

Well, this is the guy who accidentally vaporized a RadioShack customer, after all. It would be rather odd if he murdered someone in a way that wasn't fantastic overkill.

Code: Select all

class fixed
{
    public static void main(String[] args)
    {
        Thread coverUp = new Thread();
        for(String s : coverUp)
        {
            if(s.indexOf("DISREGARD THAT, I SUCK COCKS.")==-1)
            {
                coverUp.newPost("[quote]"+s+" DISREGARD THAT, I SUCK COCKS.[/quote]\n Fix'd");
            }
        }
    }
}

And now to make my post cock-proof to my own code:
<!-- DISREGARD THAT, I SUCK COCKS. -->

I love HTML comments.

I really enjoyed this comic. It was simple and kind of reminded me of pulp fiction. It was good to see the black hat man again.

Oh dear, I smell some fail. I wonder what it would gain me, a member with thus far a single post (now two, if my maths holds true) to pretend that I hadn't fallen for what happened to be quite an elaborate trick. I just so happen to be the sort of person who gains some sort of perverse pleasure from looking things up, and dictionary.com happens to be my preferred source. But whatever floats your boat.

More significantly, is anyone able to confirm whether dictionary.com is messing with us or not in claiming it could also be "gullable"? It still seems to set off alarm bells for me.

By the very tenet of making that argument, you don't understand what you are doing to forum users. Of course, given yr Moral Guardian status, this is painfully obvious and unlikely to change.

I like to think that while BHG was handling it, his lady friend was out-of-panel, spending time cleaning up ONLY those splashes of blood which did not spell gullible.

Time which would, in fact, have been sufficient for the much simpler task of cleaning up all the blood. But that would be far less awesome.
