Once again this comic explains how I handle my everyday life. Of course I'm sill not going to talk to girls I see randomly. They will think I'm a psycho.

Perhaps the third frame is where he's wrong.

1. Tragedy
2. ???
3. Comic

Man, I feel like it's been a while since xkcd has one of these romance-type comics. This one speaks to me. I like it.

That's cute in a stab-in-the-heart-and-make-me-emo kind of way. It made me 'd\'aaaawwwww' and then i realized that it left a tight feeling in my chest. :?

If he had these super secret spy glasses he could rig a system to see what she is typing and see her blog post.

The joke is that they're both introverts? And one of them has a netbook and a blog?

But this would never happen to me. I simply don't possess that cute, perfectly round, and expressionless face of the nameless main character.

So... if I go buy a netbook you guys think some semi-nerdy to very-nerdy girls will start to take a liking to me? The only problem I see is nobody uses the public transportation systems in my city....

Oh that's fun. Happy birthday!!! And my math teacher has been more focused on making me be a nicer person than on teaching me math. Coincidentally I'm getting better at both....

More importantly, where can you actually get wireless on a train? Lest she's using a nextG/equiv wireless card on her netbook, but that would make it stick out.. or it could be a new Dell Mini with it integrated... but then it's not a netbook, nor cute...

I've been told many times that women think this way (often by xkcd itself). But I'm still not sure it's not wishful thinking.

Yea. But it might be biased if it is XKCD women telling you this.

Just like how at the homecoming dance last night I was really afraid to dance with some of the people because I thought they might think I was really creepy and then I'd be a social outcast. So I stuck to people I didn't know.

We like that. It's often hard to tell if the cute girls I randomly talk to are just being nice, or are interested. When they give me that "you're a psycho" look, however, it's very easy to tell what they're thinking.

I guess I shouldn't take my chainsaw out in public.

Is it started when you approach people, or do you wait until the conversation dies down abit before you rev it up? That can make a difference, you know.

That last few haven't been too great, but this one is a total "story of my life" for me. My mind just doesn't accept the possibility that people could be interested in me. This is why I don't speak.

I think this is how every kid in high school with a crush on someone feels. This is basically the thought process that goes through my head any time I meet new people. Maybe it's just my poor self-image, or maybe I'm as ugly as I think I am, I dunno.

If you start an argument over whether "they" "them" and "their" can be used as gender neutral singular pronouns, in this thread, I will do terrible, terrible things to you.

Kinda... well, I guess that thinks a girl in my Accounting class, except that... well, it's really creepy hitting in a class. I think. Well, whatever.

The netbook stuff: I guess there are some people who have 3G access as their first. I mean, here down the Panama Canal, where a 3G connection is faster than a bad ADSL, and a good ADSL costs fivefold, it's a competitive option. Not so many, but... well, that could happen. And maybe happens.

Of course, here you can't do that in a train (mainly 'cause there isn't any), and you try to do it in a bus: you take out your laptop, and it's gone. You've been stolen.
