Like others, I was expecting a Sodium reference. Unless there's going to be few oddly named elements in the future, that obviously isn't molecule.
Still decent graph joke.

Wow.

I came to the forum thinking that a math/physics joke went over my head for a change. Instead, I was thoroughly disappointed to find out that it was just a lame not math/physics joke.

So has that Mustapha character been around? I think I actually agree with him for once.

Just had to register to post here regarding this nice comic, especially because I actually play "Land of 1000 Dances" in one of my bands. I certainly had a chuckle out-loud.

Since others are already adding potential "Na" songs, another possible "Na" song from Bad Manners, called "Ne Ne Na Na Na Na Nu Nu".

How to complete this kind of chart:
Reverse lyrics search with google: http://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Awww.lyricsmania.com+"na+na+na+na+na"

Conditioning with a chosen lyrics site helps a lot against duplicates.

The Beetles aren't missing. They're just in deep contract negotiations with Randall about how to best preserve the artistic merit and protect the integrity of their work in this new digital, post-modernized medium.

You will be able to properly purchase and download an official Beetles branded version of that chart in sometime in November, 2020 (roughly 9 years and 10 months after the chart first became available). Of course, by then everyone will have already converted the already-available printed chart to a digital format themselves, but really, just because it is culturally relevant, you should re-purchase The White Chart again, anyways.

The very first Na should have a branch to Cl. That would be the nerdy joke.

It's strange that sodium is so seldom found in organic chemistry, when in the world of song, Na has such a strong disposition to forming long chains.

That was my first thought, too, even though I'm a born and bred Beatles fan.
Then again, I've been listening to the Danger Days album two or three times a day for the past few weeks. (My one-year-old is apparently a born and bred MCR fan.)

Here in Brazil we have a band named "Os Paralamas do Sucesso", and one of their most known songs is "Depois da Queda, o Coice" [After the Fall, Comes a Kick].
The lyrics begin:

"Hey na na na!
Hey na na na!
Hey na na na!"

Also, it is the name of the album.

For me, NA first meant Nondeterministic Automaton; it being a directed graph with multiple branches and no labels. Usually though, it's NDA not NA, and then I saw batman, and it clicked.

Yes. 9 "Na"s before "Olay olay", 11 before "Way cool" and finally "Just do it"

All I could think of when I saw the title was My Chemical Romance's "Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)". I was disappoint that he didn't have it in. Had trouble reading the comic to any other tune. But I don't blame him: It has 43 "Na's" before any other lyrics.

As I count things the "Batman" branch is <del>one</del><ins>five</ins> "Na"<ins>s</ins> too early. IIRC the song goes like this:

(instrumental)
Batman
(instrumental)
Batman
...
Na na na na
Na na na na
Na na na na
Na:
Batman!

(EDIT: after visiting Youtube, added four more "Na"s)
