And I'm guessing HFCS is also in there somewhere. [mildly exaggerated scenario]

What if they're selling electrons? It should probably photons+time, if I remember my astronomy correctly.

This would be a cool question for the Tuesday feature. How much time and hydrogen does it take to make some common household items. I suppose the answer for each item might just be 16.4 billion years and about a universe worth of hydrogen, give or take.

The thing made of hydrogen and time is, by definition, big enough to put this sticker on.

My last name is Thyme*.

So Max is just H and time.

Carbon is just six hydrogens duct-taped together by the strong nuclear force.

Edit: Oops, twelve hydrogens, as KrytenKoro pointed out below.

I...really?

Ionized Carbon is essentially twelve Hydrogen nuclei fused together, where six of them have become Neutrons.

All nuclei are just various variations on Hydrogen nuclei.

Even thyme is just H and time.

I'm pretty sure thyme is actually just H and "tyme", whatever that is.

16.4 billion? The universe is believed to be 13.6-13.8 billion years old at present . . .

From a scientific point of view, does it make any more sense to call time an "ingredient" than, e.g., length?

to be honest, more "tidy" than Hydrogen + Time would be Neutrons + Time, since neutrons decay into hydrogen much quicker than hydrogen decays into neutrons. but I suppose both are equally accurate with the time element.

Time is a direction, the appearance of time passing may seem like an illusion, but only because we are not used to thinking of it as a direction we travel along.

Even better, a large enough cloud of hydrogen can collapse on itself and begin fusion, producing other elements.

Adding energy would slow the process, actually, if you want the hydrogen to fuse quicker just add metals, adding energy just means it will take longer to collapse into a protostar.
