Brilliant! I came up with this, with apologies to the Bard:
Made beautiful summer by this city's sun;
And all the sky's white things upon our house
In the deep middle of the water hidden.
Now are our heads tied up with pretty leaves;
Our dark, used arms hung up as memories ;
Our loud attention sounds now happy talking,
Our fighting-walking songs now pretty music.
Bad-faced fight god made straight his face's front;
Instead of riding horses in strong clothes
To scare the hearts of men from the other side,
He dances cat-like in a lady's bedroom
Adjectives are in particularly short supply!
Edit: It's "sun" not "son" in line 2, and I guess therefore that York is the city.
