You can stop calling him Shirley, now.

Postby poxic » Mon Nov 29, 2010 2:05 am UTC

Leslie Nielsen passed away today. Linky.

I has a sad.
In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit.

I has a sad as well. I would also be scared if I was an actor in Airplane. That's two in one year.

A good actor and a funny man.
His life was a gift to many.
It is not possible to say, Shirley,
without thinking of him.
Life is, just, an exchange of electrons; It is up to us to give it meaning.

"Surely, you can't be serious!"
"I am serious, Leslie Nielsen is dead."

:(

This was a horrible thing to hear on the radio as I was waking up this morning.

Makes me wonder if, with his last breath, he said "I picked the wrong day to quit sniffing glue..."

One of my favorite lines from Airplane...

I wonder if they'll put that line on his gravestone?

The man will be missed.
I really should be working right now, but somehow I don't have the energy.
