The Economist article about math jobs

Postby Pathway » Tue May 12, 2009 9:23 pm UTC

Does anyone remember an article by the Economist in the last couple years, probably the fall of 2008, talking about how employers wanted people with math degrees? One reason they gave was because the degree strongly suggests you can be trained to do whatever they need, if I recall correctly... I've tried to find it but I don't remember enough to even say conclusively whether it's online. Does anyone remember more about it, or have a link to it?

The reason I would kill penguins would be, no one ever, ever fucking kills penguins.
