Armstrong and Miller *~_The Love Zone_~*

I can't quite believe there's not a topic for them already, if I'm honest, as an avid viewer.
They're a comedy duo, with a sketch show on the mighty Beeb. That's the BBC, to all the Yanks :)

It's like Morecome and Wise, or the Two Ronnies. Truly. Epic.

Hence, just to give you a taste:

I'm in love.

That's the Armstrong and Miller show. <3

I've caught some of the Armstrong and Miller shows. The ones that I've seen have been very funny.

I love the RAF pilots speaking 'street' language (or whatever you call it), genius :D

Armstrong and Miller are good but I prefer Mitchell and Webb. However, put them all together and add in some Geoffrey Palmer and you've got a recipe for success: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGp4DvFEgh8

I love these guys, my only problem with them is the problem I have with all modern sketch shows, and that's the overuse of a joke. Like the RAF pilots, that's a really funny concept, but three times a show, unless you're subverting it at the end, isn't funny. I hated Little Britain for exactly the same thing.

Yeah, I completely agree. Too many shows these days just recycle exactly the same jokes each week, so that if you've seen one episode you've seen them all. It makes stuff like Armstrong and Miller and Mitchell and Webb more suited to 2 minute blasts on You Tube than sitting through a full 30 minutes. The Fast Show in the 90s, while at times absolute genius, fell into the same trap.
