Two things: I was born with a small cyst in my ear. it popped when I was three, and all this cheesy yucky stuff came out.
I was born with an abdominal hernia. Sometimes muscle proteins and other muscle stuff would come out and turn my belly button bright blue, and I couldn't sit up for hours. When I was ten, I had it repaired and the surgery turned my outie into an innie.
EDIT: My knees make fairly loud cracking noises whenever I go up the stairs, and I was born at home. Whenever I look at lights without my glasses on, it looks like I'm looking in a microscope at a bacterial community. my eyes are really bad. I have a prescription of -9. And its becoming blurry again :(

I have Preauricular Skin Pits. AKA Tiny button holes right in front of my ears. I like to joke that that was where my antenna were before they got removed.

My shoulders dislocate at random. I am BARELY hyperflexible, which means it hurts like fucking hell. Owowowow.

I can pop my jaw in two directions. And dislocate it if I try really hard, but I've only done it a couple of times and it hurts like all hell.
Also, I've got a really bad deviated septum. My left nostril is entirely closed up unless I pull it out in one direction, and I'm hoping to be able to get Septoplasty soon enough to have two working nostrils.

Torvaun wrote:I will never get tired of all the things people think can change eye color.

I'm not saying it's what causes it, but I have noticed that my eyes definitely look different under different light: Under natural light or any bright light my eyes look definitely dark green, dull incandescent light makes them look either hazel or green with a hint of brown, depending on the brightness, and flourescent lights make them look brown or hazel, again, depending on the brightness.
EDIT: Maybe it's the way my irises are stretching or something?

You know that thinkg you used to do as a kid where you'd mup one hand over your armpit and move your other arm down to make a fart sound? I can do that with the hollow in my neck against my neck (instead of using a hand, I mean).

I can also dislocate my shouldiers just by... I don't know how to describe it, moving my shoulder muscles in a certain way is the best thing I can come up with. I can then pop them back in in a similar way. This has been very useful for getting out of hold-downs when I used to do judo.

I occasionally stop breathing. Apparently when I was a baby I stopped breathing a couple of times and had to be resuccetated. I also had really irregular breathing, but that's sort of gone, whereas nowdays I'll find myself letting out a lungful of air or taking a deep breath and then I'll realise that I'd stopped breathing about a minuite ago (when I pointed this out to one of my friends they decided to surrepticiously time it the next time they noticed: I made about 1 minuite 20 seconds that time, but I could tell it was longer than normal. Yeah, I have quite a large lung capacity).

One that probably isn't that uncommon is that I talk in my sleep. What is different is that I'm bilingual, though, so when I do I tend to flit between English and French. Sometimes in mid-scentence.

I can also do that weird walking on the insides of your feet thing that limbo champions can do. If I lean back while I do it I can get my shoulders to be a foot above the ground while only me feet are touching the floor. It's been quite useful in air-guitaring and, suprise suprise, impromptue drunken limbo competitions!

EDIT2: Actually, thinking about it, another weird thing is my flexibility: Fron that last point you'd assume I'm ridiculously flexible, right? Wrong. I can't even touch my toes, bu I find the occasional thing, usually things that take a high degree of physical flexibility, really easy. Like the limbo thing and like the way I can take my leg, knee straight, to about 90 degrees up when standing, and if I let myself bend my knee I can get it to about to my neck height, both while keeping my other leg completely straight. Skanking is very fun for me.

I use my feet to do a lot of things. The aforementioned abilityto get my feet ridiculusly high helps, of course, but my toes ar little wonders as well: My housemates are always amazed when I open doors when I have my hands full by turning the doorhandle with my feet. And I can pick up quite a lot of things with my toes: pens, cutlery, CD cases, discarded clothes...

I also have a very thick neck. Very thick, it's actually as wide as my head when you look straight at me. Buying medium sized shirts with a large collar is a bitch, let me tell you.

OK, lighting is actually a legit thing to cause color changes. Fluorescent doesn't have the same spectra as incandescent doesn't have the same spectra as sun doesn't have the same spectra as moon. Sometimes the differences will be large, sometimes small, but that is 100% scientifically demonstrated as a way to effect different colors.

Sure, shining a big red light on something that's white will make it red.

...

Doesn't mean the object is red.

But I can concede that in certain situations an eye will appear to have a different color.

Yeah, but when you say it's white, you're only saying that it looks white when white light is shone on it.

Being of some colour or other is a bit of a dubious notion. What can be measured is the absorption spectra. Note that this can still change depending on the state of the molecules (without even having a chemical reaction caused by light, which is also entirely possible and frequently happens to pigments, if I'm not mistaken).

I'm not saying that people's eye colours are changing, but there seems to be nothing wrong with it in principle.
The cake is a pie.

I always remember how to spell weird because it is the odd man out from that rule, so, "weird" is weird.

When I lock my knees, they actually bend backwards about 5 degrees, making me an inch shorter and my upper calves become the part of me that is furthest back. The only use I have found for my tiny super power is standing closer to urinals without touching them.

There are more exceptions to the i before e rule then there are words that follow it. So actually, weird is normal.

my eyes have changed color, they used to be bright blue, now they're a dull green, don't remember specifically when but they gradually started to lose their brightness and started to look gray and then color started to return and they where green, the whole process took several years

When I was little I had somthing wrong with the tendons in my thumbs (I can't remember the speciic name of it) and whenever I bent the let one it would become stuck and my right one would only bend a few degrees.
This one's not really weird but my right iris has a random dark bit coming from the pupil so it looks like my pupil is a funny shape in the right light. Also with the eye colour/light thing, my eyes are blue but in direct sunlight they appear quite golden. Next time it's sunny here (it could be a while) I'll take a picture.

The middle 3 fingers of my hand can bend backwards at the second joint (count from the top down) about 28.4 degrees. That is, if I place my hand flat on the table and flex, the tips of my fingers will lift about an inch from the surface while my palms and bottom finger segment remain flat. (Using this info and the Pythagorean Theorem, calculate the length of my top 2 finger segments). My pinky fingers, however, can't even make it to a straight position, much less bend backwards.

I'm bilingual. I startled my roommate by waking up in early morning and trying to tell her something, but I was half asleep and started in the wrong language.

Spoiler:
length of my top 2 finger segments: 2.1 inches.

Edited to add: I went to a kind of boarding school, on the first week the group of us (about 15) sat around the dining room table and one by one demonstrated strange or even mildly amusing things about our bodies. One could dislocate both shoulders, another his wrists, another could fit her whole fist in her mouth. It was a nice ice-breaker.

In grade 9, a backetball hit my right index finger so that it bent slightly.

Since then, my right hand is perminently doing the "live long and prosper" thing. My middle finger can never tough my index unless they are bent.

I'm the tallest person I ever saw. 2,05m.
I am very flexible, can put feet behind head, can shake hands vertically behind my back, etc. Coiling my legs around tended to horrify people so I stopped doing it.
No stamina, but high strength despite lack of muscles.
Can't feel cold well at all.
Strange vaccination scar that looks as if part of my right wrist melted.
Very quick cicatrization, very high resistance to alcohol, anesthetics, and some poisonous plants.
Cold hands, warm neck.
My teeth have several roots. Dentists hate that. Combined with anesthetics resistance, dental surgery is a huge mess.
One of my nails has it's half missing.
It makes "CLONK CLONK CLONK" songs when I chew or yawn.
A few weaks ago my heartbeats made a strange wet slapping noise.
My ears are always clogged since a few years (you know, that thing when you change pressure and go "pop" when you yawn? it still goes "pop" but doesn't go away).
I never have both nostrils unclogged.
My toes can grab and carry heavy objects.
My hands are HUGE, flexible, and strong.
Effort gets me dizzy very quickly.
Certain noise frequencies (very low-freq noises, cleaning wet glasses, tearing the green part from a wet strawberry) cause me physical pain.
I have a pretty long penis.
If I stand for too long, my knees buckle and hurt like fuck.

Ah, and also repeated head trauma.

I'm duck-toed,* with the flexibility to turn both feet facing backwards simultaneously (well, if you allow for some slight bending at the knees--if you only consider locked-knee'd to be legit, then I max out at ~270°). Later in life, it'll cause hella-leg pains, but now-a-days, it's just curious.

It's especially interesting phenomenologically, for me, because the sight of it doesn't bother me in the least--it evokes about as much emotion as bending my arm at the elbow--but most people find it palpably unsettling to watch.
