1953 Soviet SKS. Shoots 7.62 x 39mm. Beautiful gun, nice woodwork. As it would have been issued. Almost accurate enough to shoot the side of a barn if you happen to already be inside it.

According to my preschool teacher mother, that's a pretty common mistake. She warned me about it a couple weeks ago.
