I found a neat little tool online for finding distance if you run roads: http://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/create/

Quick morning run with dog. I now must stuff family & excessive volumes of camping gear into the car and drive 600 miles to the Dordogne in France. So, this is the last you'll hear from me for a week or so. If I run I'll keep track and post when I'm back. But it's 37 degrees there today so I'm not promising! Have a good week, everyone.

Didn't see this thread until now...although most of my running comes from Ultimate Frisbee 4 times a week. :-P But I actually did run a little yesterday.

My foot has really been bothering me. More like the back of it at ankle level. I'm going to fiddle with inserts and, if that doesn't work, I'll have to see a doctor, womp womp.

Do you guys think I could make it to 14.8 by the middle of September? It's the distance from my house to an important landmark and back, and I want to be able to say I've run clear to there and back before I move in to Uni.

I run with my phone, so the Pandora app works for me. It's nice to be able to tailor it depending on the day - just pick an artist I want to hear, and hear a bunch of similar stuff that I probably also wouldn't mind.

Time for me to get back on track with this moving of the feet stuff. It's been too long.

Didn't do much last week, but at the start of the week it was 39 deg in the shade at the campsite. I did manage a couple of runs up to the local hill vilage, because frankly, it was worth the view.

First time going that far in a single session. Now I think I need to work on my pace a bit more. Right now sitting at 45 minutes.

I am saddened that I don't have any scenic vistas in my area to run to. We have... a river! That is generally filled with mud. That's about it.

OK, I'm sorry people, it seems I made a mistake

The actual count goes as follows:

Gaur 2927.6 + 4 = 2931.6 (the error was here, I wrote 2976.6 + 4, dont know why )

Themis 2931.6 + 8 +6 = 2945.6

Evengeduld 2945.6 + 2= 2947.6

So this is the actual figure now: 2947.6
