I'm haunted by guilt of not having posted to this thread earlier... I would love to go back and edit a page-1 post to say "I bet they build a sandcastle" just so I could say I knew it all the time.

If only I had invented a 21-use time machine.

Is there a freemium version where I can pay with micro-transactions to speed up the newpix rate?

New theory about the end. It will finish after say, Newpix 735840 after large amounts of sandcastle building and fairly frequent interesting developments, possibly involving velocirapters, but anyway I digress. The final frame will contain a sign posted in the sand that says "We apologise for the inconvenience".

[outdated, but i don´t care]

This is my estimate:
Sandcastles are now deserted, crushing after some Time, leaving eternal silence...

[edit: not quite as outdated anymore :)]

Anyone else notice the similarity to the Battlestar Galactica episode '33', where the Cylons attack every 33 minutes?

(Galactica Hangars)
Cally: Why do the cylons come every 33 minutes? Why isn't it 34 or 35 or...?
Tyrol: Cally...
Cally: What?
Tyrol: Shut up.

Please do not name periods before they are obviously not going to go in a completely opposite direction.

The Periods (or Connoisseur of Frames), inspired by 915: Connoisseur, are:
000 - 009 : the debut or what? period: when nobody really knew what was going on
010 - 023 : the dark period: the darkness in the posts of the thread reached heights during these frames
024 - 044 : the sandcastle period: as the sandcastle started to appear, most of the darkness made disappeared.
045 - 074 : the period (second dark period): Initially, this was the 'female period' but I soon realised that would be a pleonasm. Also it was a pretty dark time on the thread.
075 - 087 : the happiness period: the couple is reunited and again the darkness fades.
088 - 105 : the male period: with a climax at frame 103: "the fall of man" frame
105 - 124 : the rebuild period (second sandcastle period).
125* - 136* : Age of the Slow Pixel* (existence disputed)
125 or 137 - 145 : The Great Expansion
146 - 167 : the populated period of expansion
168-178: "Wanna Swim?" period. No actual swimming was shown, though Megan does cough out liquid.
179-NOW: Unknown period may be another Age of the Slow pixel.

Any votes on changes to be made in hindsight?
Personally, I think 45-74 should be "the Megan Period" (as 'the period' is unclear) and the Age of the Slow pixel should be confirmed as existent.

Also: who posted the first post? Can someone find them and ask them to put up a link to the wiki in that post, so it's both easy to find and somewhere new people might see it?
P.S. I am not Randall. I am an initiate of Time. All is measured by the passage of the Newpix.

300gb of frames is not much of a problem for now, let alone 42 years in the future. Are you from 1982? Anyway nice of you to pick up on the 42 I threw in there, not a coincidence of course.

Second both above agreements. The Age of the Slow Pixel is similar to the Debut or What? Period in that no clear event delineates it from the following period, yet there was a clear change of moods on the threads.
