I can't post the pictures because it's being flagged as spam :(
But if you open them in two tabs next to each other and switch back and forth, you can see that the ocean changes slightly.

So if we pan further left and they've disappeared into a castle turret and it turns out they are in a life sized version of the same castle complex they just built, where there be bacon there or will a larger version of themselves look down upon the scene which is in fact a model of the second castle complex in a room inside a castle that is part of an even larger version and will there be bacon there?

Some one needs to write a page crawler to gather interesting stats from this forum and start displaying interactive live charts.

For example: a graph of # comment posts per newpix would be great. Bonus points if you make it so you can click and scroll through the chart and have an image next to the chart jump to that particular newpix.

I would do this myself, but I fear i have a party to go to for the next 10 or more newpix :-(

Wow, for the first time in my life I am genuinely glad that I have a smartphone.

In Svithjod, there stands a rock. It is 100 miles high and 100 miles wide. Once every 1000 years a little bird comes to this rock to sharpen its beak. One time, I changed just the last sentence of this signature, and lots of you noticed. Image

Easier is to use the http://xkcd.aubronwood.com/# page, pause it near the end, and just toggle back and forth between the images in question. You can see a few pixels changing slightly right at the water's* edge between frames 179 & 180.

Ok so finally the tide will come in? Except tides follow a sinusoidal pattern, so odd that the liquid has been precisely level all this time.

Don't you mean the image will pan slightly to the left (a step), then jerk to the right (a jump)... :D
I can't think of a suitable metaphor for hands / hips / knees.

Then the image will zoom in and out several times (pelvic thrust)...
