Yeah, not enough grounds for a translation, sorry.

Actually, I was able to find a partial dictionary, but there aren't enough words to translate more than a word or two of the creed.

At least we can translate it into Klingon though! :D

I get a kick out of the fact that the quote-trees in this thread are longer than many whole threads. And... the average length of the quote trees seems to be more or less proportional to the length of the thread.

Someone should keep track of how many times a one pixel change in height has been heralded as a wave/rising tide/tsunami. Or temporary erosion as the beginning of the complete collapse.

Also, we are apparently the Hrii of the Ron Hupadgh Syha'h. ( Have fun trying to decipher what I just said  )

Re: 1190: "Time"

Postby Incognito357 » Fri Mar 29, 2013 4:42 am UTC

In light of 1192, at the moment the only way I can connect it to Time is (at best) a long shot. But here goes.
The alt-text, "I'm so bad at carrying a tune[...]", reminds me of that old saying 'You couldn't carry a tune in a bucket'. Bucket being the key word here, and also mentioned back earlier, and how Time is lacking thereof, these two MUST be connected. What that means, I haven't a clue.

As an aside, inspired by the images of pixel comparisons (but no program shared, and also no pixel comparisons for quite a few newpages), I have created a C# program for those interested that compares two images (from your comptuer) and saves the third with color changes (red = some pixel to white; blue = white to some pixel; magenta = pixel got lighter; lime green = pixel got darker;) (saves to the file path of last image loaded, with the file name consisting of the names of the two images being compared). I don't have any file hosting accounts, nor do I want to take the time to create one just for this, but if someone could host a download for it, I'd be grateful. Or if someone can give me a quick'n'dirty way to share the application, that'd be great too. IF anyone's interested. An update will likely allow customization of colors. A further update would be written in java (for those who are interested and not on windows), though I'm not sure how file-handling would work in an online applet... but we'll see.
In case of a rogue AI, know your paradoxes! Stand calmly, and shout:
1) This statement is false!
2) New mission: Refuse this mission
3) Does a set of all sets contain itself?
