YES.
Second favorite Discworld book, after The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents.

Discworld! :D

This whole comic, thread, and general situation reminds me a bit of Amazing Maurice, actually...

But everyone knows the Witches are the best part of the Disc.

I'm torn between Vimes and the Witches. I like Vimes better as a character, but the Witches are just kind of endearing.

Perhaps Randal is slows down the action at night to give people a chance to sleep. A few of the less exciting newpix coincided with night time. (sitting around time, cueball building, zoom time, and cueball building again)

I didn't intend to, but I've been gone from the thread for about 45 newpix. It went a little something like this:

wake up, check in, 23 pages behind, feed kids, make coffee, check in, 34 pages behind, readreadread, 27 pages behind, get ready for work, 31, go to work, readreadread, 18, do some work, 38(!), readreadread, 22, more work, 29, readreadread, 17, go home, eat something, 21, readreadreadreadreadread, caught up. Brain dripping out my ears. Eyes nonfunctional. But caught up.

Yeah, it appears that my "watched pot" theory is debunked. Still, the pattern in the variable passage of time in Time is interesting, especially in relation to the varying post rate. It seems the rate is increasing independent of the number of people viewing the thread.

Gah, I can't keep up. I've been here every possible moment since Sunday night, but I step away to go to work, eat, or some such nonsense, and return to find another 30 pages. I'm extremely grateful for the aubronwood site, so that I can at least see the entire comic.

Oh, and this thread has yanked yet another long time reader from peaceful lurkerdom. Hi, everyone!
