I seem to have missed a lot. Why has the small sequence of programmed instructions title changed? And why be not the Things that are on my side for 600, Alex! wiki being updated?

And hwæt be these small sequences of programmed instructions all about?

I can answear the last one: The running scientific theory is that what we are typing is actually some high level machine code that dictates what will happen in the next scene, we have yet to determine exactly how this code is being generated from what is posted.

Clearly, this whole thing is a metaphor for the extinction of the dinosaurs. The snow symbolizes the glacial era, the castles stands for the reptilian civilization, and the projectile that it hit is the giant meteorite. And the oozbleck symbolizes velociraptor bacon.

I think she is aiming for the area where they started building, which Cueball rebuilt awhile back.

I've been lurking for a while now...finally joined the forum to mention that I took two hours this morning to create an Android app that will notify you every Newpix. Should be live on Google Play shortly and I'll post a link when it is. :)

Wouldn't setting an alarm for every half hour pretty much do the same thing?

Too easy and makes too much sense. Also doesn't require making an app, which was the point in the first place.

No. Newpix (NP) is a standard measurement of t-i-m-e only in T-i-m-e and doesn't correlate exactly to any standard measure in Outside t-i-m-e. 30 minutes is only an approximations of 1 NP which is standard in T-i-m-e as the t-i-m-e between two T-i-m-e Frames.

Now that it's not quite so full on and incomprehensible! When it was in full swing it was definitely not making things gooder, verily twas maddening to riddle out the initial intentions!

I posted this in the IRC (#xkcd-time on irc.foonetic.net), but I'll post it here as well.
It's an HTML/JavaScript code to show the differences between two frames. Some of this kind of image were posted some (well, a lot actually) pages ago, so I thought it would have been cool to be able to create them on the fly. The instructions are on the top of the file.

Newpix are measured in metric grains. That's more like 2.78 metric grains.
