Well, I understand that this strip is somehow changing with time, but it seems to have become a religion (and everything I type is also being changed). I'm just confused.

In all fairness, that's a pretty good summary.

A new image every 30 minutes (known as a newpix, or to some inferiors, a timeframe) With almost 270 newpix so far.

Here's the wiki with most of the information http://xkcd-time.wikia.com/wiki/XKCD_Time_Wiki

And here's the latest newpix

Dear Time travellers, I bring a gift from the future: A userscript for Chrome (Tampermonkey) or Firefox (Greasemonkey)
This will convert outside time to the One True Time of Newpix

You don't know of the RECKONING of our Demon Overlords? There's a big thread on the individual comic page about it.

And yes, thereia a glorious religion dedicated to Randall and Thing that keeps slipping into the future. The TimeWaiters, we are called.

Ïa Ran'dall! Ïa Cthulhu!
All hail divine Lord Randall

Wait for it.

Thar be the ONE TRUE COMIC that updates once every nüpiks, by definition. We have a religion and some other stuff going on. On a completely unrelated note, Mod Madness is also occurring at the same time.

We have a wiki!

Just say sëmencöffeëcancërbabïes a few times and you'll be fine.

Wait for it.

Just read the entire thread then come back and ask us if you're still confused about anything.

(if you aren't there is something seriously wrong with you)

I present the unofficial Newpician t'ime unit system. (apostrophe to prevent censoring)
Base 2520 numerals are written with three characters for each digit. Basically, the first place before the radix point is tetradecimal, the second is pentadecimal and the third is duodecimal, so the number before 1000000000 is BEDBEDBED. This is a reference to the insomnia that most followers of T'ime have been experiencing for the past biquapix or so, and also an advantage in factors, since 2520 is a highly composite number.
A newpix (plural newpices) is equivalent to the t'ime between consecutive image uploads to the One True Comic. The duration of 469BAB300000 (decimal 16546737186000) vibrations of the caesium-97 atom can be taken as a rough substitute on most days.
14 trinipices = 1 dunipix
15 dunipices = 1 zenipix
12 zenipices = 1 newpix
14 newpices = 1 unquapix
15 unquapices = 1 biquapix
12 biquapices = 1 triquapix
Further prefixes follow the 14-15-12 pattern.
Positive prefixes are unqua, biqua, triqua, quadqua, pentqua, sexqua, septqua, octqua, ennqua, decqua, levqua, zenqua, thisqua, unnilqua.
Negative prefixes are untia, binia, trinia, quadria, pentia, sextia, septia, octia, enntia, dectia, leftia, zentia, thistia, unnilqua.

Dates are written by the number of newpices in base 2520 since the first frame of the Comic.
Published on 13D.5.

Well, my turn. I'm about due to venture Outside and imbibe drinks that are extremely lacking in both caffeine and semen. I'll probably be back on in 5 Long NewPix or so.
P.S. I am Randall, but not that Randall.
We can rebuild it. We have the technology. We can make it better than it was. Better … stronger … well, maybe not faster.

You had me until you started talking about the vibrations of a caesium isotope, as such vibrations are specific to the Outside and are in no way tied to the Newpix.

A Newpix is a revalation, and therefore indivisible, and countable but infinite. How the Outside experiences time is only relatable to Newpix by sheer fluke (or by Divine Planning). Hence you cannot tie such a system to Outside references!

It has been proposed that we take the Creator's use of rows and columns of pixels in a NewPix to indicate subdivisions of a Newpix, but as Newpix are indivisible this cannot be so. We must therefore measure the space between Newpix in terms of our own apprehension and anticipation, which can be normalized to 1.0 at the expected revelation of a Newpix. Of course, should a the relationship between a NewPix and Outside time change, the fact that our base instincts still cling to Outside time references means that for one or two Newpix our apprehension and anticipation may exceed 1.0 until the next Newpix is revealed unto us. As we adjust to the alignment with Outside time again, the revelation period will again approach 1.0

I proposed giant tower, someone else proposed waste dumping for underground tunnel.

I don't think anyone's mentioned semen, cancer, or babies outside the context of whatever material is being mounded.

underground tunnel is not a bad idea, because this is the first example of sand/snow/dried semen/coffe grounds/ash/babies actually being moved not just formed, we're seeing it piling up from a dig, however its weird megan started a pile first to dig down...

edit. you ninja'd me on the substance haha

I blame this factor and the unavoidable draw of the Outside as the reason for the loss in following of the comic...
